I wonder how IU is going to adjust after losing their PG. They might struggle a little bit today as Wisconsin is a hell of a defensive team.

I think Michigan has more to lose than to win. I know there's a lot of talk of leapfrogging a team for a 2 seed if they win, but I think this will less likely than many because the committee doesn't invest as much into tourney victories. However, a tourney a loss could drop them, but with other 3s losing early in their tournaments, I think Michigan is pretty much set there.

I think pride is more at stake than anything.

And they want to.  The thing they need to do better at is on the defensive side of the ball and on the boards.

(Edit: I realize that those two keys play in to the idea of playing or not playing at that pace.  Where Iowa is getting burned the most thus far hasn't been in transition though, though like I said they need to do a bit better job getting back and picking up defense.)

This turned into a curb stomping quickly. Iowa needs to shoot the lights out of the three ball to stay in it because they don't seem to be forcing any turnovers.

One second I look up at the MSU/Iowa score and it's tied, I walk out of my cubicle for a couple minutes and all chaos has ensued.  What the hell just happened?

This LSU - UK game is hilarious.  Coaching in the SEC?  Nah, let the kids run loose.

I say this with the knowledge that UK is an incredibly good team, but man, some of their players play brainless basketball at times.

People say that conference tournaments don't matter, this one does. Michigan has won the B1G Championship but now they need to restore what was taken from them in 2002. A B1G Tournament Championship.

The fact that the NCAA basically is telling me that my father and I didn't stay for the weekend in Chicago back in 1998, and watched Michigan win the first-ever Big Ten Tournament...It hurts.

That always bothers me, but it's in the past. Time for Michigan to win one back, and win the program's SECOND conference tournament championship.

I think Michigan will win tonight. I'll be watching with the TV on mute listening to Hockey in the CCHA Playoffs against notre dame at Yost.
