Braylon Edwards upset his brother (Berkely Edwards) hasn't been offered.

Submitted by kaykaybroke on

Some tweets from braylon edwards suggest he's upset that Hoke and co. haven't offered his younger brother yet.

With the way recruiting is going though, don't forsee any point in the near future where an offer to berkeley is given.

"Love my school and I played for coach hake but call my brother before its too late and you guys miss out like Lloyd would have ifnot for [coach hoke]"

I'd be upset too [if I were Braylon], but speaking out about it is certainly not going to help. I like Berkley's tape, but I don't think he fits into our plans at this point. I can see why Hoke hasn't offered him yet.

Seriously, how old are you Braylon? If you are upset about it, how about you place a call to Brady Hoke and talk to him personally-- instead of whining and saying in appropriate things via social media like a 17 year old high school CB from New Jersey (too soon?).

he is. I have never seen a guy go from most loved and respected player whose dad taught him all the right things to do and say. To a guy who caught 17 TD's for a NFL team and their record for a season, to then pissing off almost every person in said state and getting forced out for fighting with Lebron's friend and turning into a diva so fast.

Braylon has had one very good season in the NFL and pretty much stunk up the place the rest of his career.  He needs to concentrate on his career before he is out of the league and stop worrying about what is going on at Michigan.

Didn't Braylon advise Kearney (his cousin) to go to MSU because they had a "better program".

I would understand this a little more if his bro had offers from anyone, but Rivals shows his only offer is from CMU.  So he should be mad at the entire Big Ten, and most of the MAC as well.

Wondering if adding Norfleet last year took a spot for Berkely Edwards.  Aren't both supposed to project as 3rd down/change of pace guys?

Here's an idea Braylon. Why not call Brady and find out why he hasn't been offered instead of spouting off like an idiot on twitter and acting like an entitled brat.

Hey, if Berkely gets admitted like a "normal" student and Braylon wants to pay the in-state tuition, then Berkely can try to walk on.

and I can understand his loyalty, in fact I love it but I have seen tape on Isaac and I take him first. Sorry B, but my gameplan for manball suggests taking the 6'3" 220 lb game changer right now.

I see awkwardness at the next football alumni meeting. Maybe his dad will try to smooth things over...again.  Come on Braylon, I know Hoke doesn't use email or twitter, but he does use a phone.

Also CMU doesn't seem like the type of place that Michigan competes with for recruits. If that's his only offer so far...

maybe Braylon should worry less about getting his brother a legacy scholarship, and worry more about catching a football regularly... or driving the speed limit... sober.

He probably would have tweeted a lot more, but it's reported that he DROPPED his laptop. So then he tried to use his smartphone, and he dropped that as well. Rough day.

I can understand that. In the end, though, Berkely has to make his own way in the world. Does he really want to be the kid that got in because his famous brother whined?

Didn't one of the Cass kids do something similar last year. I think it was Jenkins-Stone, but it seems like something Terry Richardson would Tweet. Anyway... kids want to come to Michigan and play for Hoke, so it's all good.

When all is said and done, I think young Edwards will be part of this class, his father is still deeply immersed at M.  I've seen Stan Edwards working on passing drills with Devin Gardner, with the assistance of Vincent Smith and Berkley Edwards
