excuse me while I go EEEEEEEEEE all day tomorrow.

I'm excited to see where Dempsey fits into Klinsman's style. Personally I'd like to see him as a 10, similar to where Fullham plays him.

Dempsey is most effective the further forward he is in the formation. Italy will be extremely difficult to score on, even if Donovan was playing. They didn't allow a single goal at home during Euro qualifying.

Definately looking forward to the game. The Italian defense will be tough to crack. It would have been nice to see Dempsey and Donovan on the same field for the first time in a while. However, Italy has injury issues of their own with Rossi and Cassano out.

Italy will be a great test for the Yanks.

Additionally, hard to believe that Freddy Adu is still under 23.  At that age, it seems like he should still be starting his career.

- Any guesses on what the Starting XI will look like?

Howard

Cherundolo/Boca/Goodson/Spector

Edu

Bradley/Johnson

Dempse

Altidore/Buddle

In a 4-4-2 type formation. The no natural wingers thing paid off against Slovenia, and I'd be shocked if Klinsmann didn't continue it.

- That U-23 has some real talent with Hamid, Adu, Agudelo, Diskerud, and McInerney.

It'd be that tune-up was on a different day so Klinsmann could catch some of the youngsters in action. Building for the future and all that.

- Also, what the hell is that Algarve Cup? That sounds made-up.

Klinsman likes his 4-3-3/4-2-3-1...

-------------------------Timmay---------------------

-Cherundolo---Goodson--Boca--Parkhurst-

--------------Bradley-------Edu--------------------

---Kljestan--------Dempsey----------Shea------

------------------------Altidore-----------------------

That's who I think will start.  I would LIKE Fabian Johnson to start in stead of Maurice Edu.

How has Jozy been doing in Turkey?  Really surprised he wasn't able to find a slot somewhere else in Europe...

More of a Premier League fan, so am very familiar with Dempsey's exploits for Fulham.  Curious to see if he finds himself on a bigger-name team next year; he won't get a sniff at the UCL if he stays at Fulham.

Too bad Donovan couldn't make it. He had a very good stint with Everton. Also unfortunate that Onyewu got hurt again.

Some great names on the under-23 team. A midfield of Joe Corona, Mix Diskerud, Dilly Duka, and Amobi Okugo would be too cool.
