OT: Best College Football Recruiting Stories
This little gem was buried at the end of Ace's Friday Recruitin' post. Without a mention of it in the first 20 or so comments, it seemed sure to fade off into obscurity there. I thought it was worthy of it's own mention (and a chuckle or two on your part.)
Anyone know who the 5-star DE is in the "Super Secret Double Double Cross" story?
Any other good stories the article left out?

There's the story one of the QBs told (Denard, Gardner, Bellomy... Bacon didn't say which) about how on a recruting trip to an SEC school he went to his hotel room and there were 2 co-eds in his bed.
Tame compared to the stories on there, but still. I wish I was better at sports in high school.

I heard that JUB confirmed that the unnamed SEC school was Florida. Unfortunately I can't find the source, so this is just shameless rumormongering. Which is what the internets are for.

was an Urban Meyer recruit. I think this is what bothers other people about his recruiting. I know it says the writer was behind it but I am going conspiracy theory and saying Urban orchestrated it.

Except for the fact that this story happened in 2012 and Meyer left Florida in 2010.

story is my favorite. What makes it so great is the fact that there's a video of it, and how he relishes the moment. This is a bold statement, but that's one of my top 10 favorite youtube videos in general.
