I know you're being sarcastic, but I've heard nothing on Pocic lately so I have no clue. tRCMB has zillions of users and just as many opinions. One thing's for sure: the Midwest is loaded with OT/OG talent this year.

That said, nobody anywhere in the country should be "worried" about their team's recruiting since it's only Feb. Unless you're a PSU fan ... Then maybe you'd be worried.

Especially with PSU and Illinois coaching turnover and Wisconsin coaching staff gutted, Sparty is well positioned to grab their share with guys like Riley Norman, Cameron Dillard, Patrick Kugler, Colin McGovern, Colin Goebel, Evan Lisle, Lovell Peterson, and Mike McGlinchey.  It will be interesting to follow to see if Dantonio can take advantage of the situation.  If he doesn't, then I would be worried if I was a Sparty fan especially given their success the last 2 years.  Personally, I don't think they have any shot at Pocic given the number of his elite offers and his already existing connections to Illinois (older bro) and Michigan (David Molk's HS), but there are a lot of other solid prospects in the Midwest to be had.

I can't help the sarcasm and, yes, the Sparty faithful do have a lot of *interesting* opinions. I can see why you work the MGoBlog.

As to Penn State and recruiting...it still is Penn State with a huge alumni base, the white out, the parking lots, and parking lots and jeebus, the parking lots filled with white clad tailgaters. It is a good school and they'll ultimately get their mojo back. The remarkably sad outcomes of the Sandusky era will fade (particularly for people from PA) and PSU will return to some prominence (including recruiting).

A lot of rankings aren't out yet, but both project to be 4 stars. Lewis is already a 4 star to most sites, and although Dawson is unranked, his recruitment has been blowing up lately, with offers from ND, Alabama, and plenty of others. And just imagine, we still lead by a wide margin for LTT, Taco, and Treadwell!
