OSU College Gameday Question
My roommate and I were talking, and wanted to go to College Gameday but we don't have tickets to the game.
We were wondering if anyone knows whether you need a ticket to get into gameday or not. We were thinking maybe they kick everyone out after gameday airs and then do re-entry later in the day for the game.
So yeah, if anyone has any info about that, or has tickets they would like to donate to two poor juniors, please let us know.
Thanks guys,
PS: As of today, Denard knows about the love song to him and thought it was hilarious
EDIT: It's free, thank you for letting us know. Ticket donation request still stands.

Gameday is free admission. The game is obviously not.

They just sent out an e-mail saying doors open at 7:30 am and admission and parking are both free.

This is part of an email that all student season ticket holders received last week.
Next Saturday, Feb. 18, Men's Basketball Student Season Ticket Holders can begin lining up at 5:00 a.m. at Gate D of Crisler Center to be part of ESPN College GameDay airing live starting at 10:00 a.m on ESPNU and 11:00 a.m. on ESPN.
It seems to indicate that they will not let people start to line up prior to 5 AM.

And if we are not a season ticket holder...?

This is the second email I received, which is what others were quoting I imagine.
ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY State Farm Michigan vs. Ohio State Saturday, Feb. 18th CRISLER CENTER FREE Admission & Parking
And that was sent to nonseason ticket holders. So I imagine that means that everyone is welcome. All I was pointing out was the time that they would let you line up so people wouldn't waste their time.

You gotta think the ESPN guys are gonna do something nutty with Denard on Gameday. Maybe they can bring that band in to play the "I Love You Denard" song. Can't wait for a raucous atmosphere in Crisler Saturday!

That'd be pretty sweet if he showed up to Gameday. Hopefully he atleast goes to the game.

Haha I'm the roomate in question and I have a small class with denard so I'll try to find out if anything is going on. And yeah he was reading through the thread under the video once I showed it to him, it was pretty funny.

not sure but i think maybe college gameday is bad ju ju. i remember maurice clarrett up on the stage and then next thing you know he is driving around with a bullet proof vest and vodka and assault rifles. is there a connection? maybe not but why take the chance?

You do NOT need tickets to go to gameday. It is open to the public.
You will obviously need a ticket to get into the game though. Check facebook if you are looking for a student ticket. There are people selling.

Ok, here is the real question: how hard would it be till hide in the arena all day untill the game starts ? And yes, i'm half serious.

I think you better bet is to try to get an event staff uniform.
Also half serious.

Sorry for thread-jacking but as you can see...I lack the points
Couple questions: 1) Is there any reason why nobody in the Maize Rage brings out the BIG faces (see Indiana, Maryland etc.)? 2) Does anyone know the best way to make them?

Not sure about the first part. But I have a few ideas for part 2. Not sure how others do it, but I would suggest a software called Rasterbator (not a perverted joke). It allows you to upload an image, choose how big you would like it, and what size margins and then prints out multiple sheets of paper. It'll print everything using dots rather than solid ink to save ink I believe. However, from a distance it is perfect. From there you just line the pieces of paper up and tape them together. I would then suggest taping it to poster board or to cardboard.

Thanks for the info! FYI: Rastored an image on Adobe Illustrator and then was able to print and put on poster. Total cost of printing in color, poster etc. came to under 10 bucks.

Simple explanation: They cost a lot of money to make.

sometimes the marketing staff makes it and give it to the students for the game. They get it back after the game.

Is the Gameday bus still parked by the stadium? Noticed it earlier today while going south on Main. Looked pretty cool.
