Sipping on a vodka tonic watching the Ohio game on the DVR waiting for this to start. Oh, how I love my DVR. This Denard guy is fun to watch.

Go Blue!!!! Getting psyched!!
February 10th, 2012 at 7:27 PM ^
Is there an online stream for this game?
February 10th, 2012 at 7:29 PM ^
Anyone got a link? Wiziwig has a stream torrent, but no flash. First Row doesn't have any college hockey streams. Appreciate it.
Go Blue, Beat State!
February 10th, 2012 at 7:33 PM ^
where can I find the wiziwig stream? I'm not seeing it in the 'NCAA hockey' section.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
I can't seem to connect, even with stream torrent installed :(
February 10th, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
It says the channel is offline, do you get the picture?
February 10th, 2012 at 7:55 PM ^
I'm on a Mac which doesn't work with stream torrent, so I don't know what to say. I've never used Stream Torrent. I wish I could be of more help.
I'm listening to the radio and using my imagination.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:47 PM ^
I've been able to load the stream torrent. It took longer than most other Stream torrents but it's been good for me ever since it loaded.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:30 PM ^
It shocks me that there isn't a more consistent pirated stream of BTN, like there are for the ESPNs of the world.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:36 PM ^
I'm digging this tenor on the national anthem. I hope he's performing that without a mike like real opera singers.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
Because I was on the phone talking about purses, of all things. Fucking Valentine's Day...
February 10th, 2012 at 7:56 PM ^
Proper color coordination always comes at a premium, not to mention the finer points of accessorizing. Such a pain for date nights.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:02 PM ^
I bought one today and word seems to have gotten out to my family and one of megangoblue's girlfriends, and they wanted pictures. Also, I was trying to figure out if the brand was still on the same "level" as some of the others I was looking at, so the conversation took more than a second.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:40 PM ^
Good start. MSU seemed to be tripping over themselves in their own zone.
And as I type it, we turn it over in our own zone as well.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:44 PM ^
Nice hit, De Blois, in front of our net!
February 10th, 2012 at 7:45 PM ^
Wings on TV, M on radio.
It sounds like Michigan is pretty much dominating.
Wings looking good as well; I don't think Anaheim has spent any time in the offensive zone in the first 3+ minutes.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:47 PM ^
I would say we're dominating in terms of puck possession, but not alot of quality chances. Both teams seem to have a case of butterhands, errr, buttersticks I guess.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:50 PM ^
"Buttersticks" sounds like a good thing to me. I would like to have buttersticks.
Also Anaheim went on a PP right when I posted so I ate that one.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:49 PM ^
Do these BTN guys know how to operate a camera and/or how hockey works? I've already yelled "NO the puck is over there!" 3 or 4 times
February 10th, 2012 at 7:51 PM ^
Glad tomorrow night's game is on FSD.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:51 PM ^
Yeah, it's been pretty bad. But in their defense, they do about about 3-4 games a year it seems. Looking forward to seeing more games on TV with the BTHC
February 10th, 2012 at 7:52 PM ^
our radio guys just said that the BTN announcers are watching/doing commentary in Chicago.
Derp. You would think they would sync the the audio/video and then deliver it to the relay. Say what you will about ESPN, but they are light years ahead of the BTN in terms of production.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:53 PM ^
Maybe this is just be being a "I know things about hockayyy" douche, but I wish they would pan out farther for all games. I feel like the game would be much easier to explain to the girlfriend or whoever, and would also flow better when you can watch a guy backchecking on a 2-1 or whatever.
The NHL is a little better about letting you see the ice, but they're still too close for a big part of the game, IMO.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:52 PM ^
This picture is in front of my (old) house. It gave us a much needed good chuckle upon seeing it after the game.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:52 PM ^
Has Tim Buttery been at MSU for 8 years?
February 10th, 2012 at 7:53 PM ^
I thought the same thing. I still remember when yost did "Buuuuu-tteryyy Buuuuu-tteryyyy" like 4 or 5 years ago
February 10th, 2012 at 7:56 PM ^
Have a similar feeling about Palmisano (sp?). I feel like they should be organizing their graduating class' golden anniversary instead of playing.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:59 PM ^
Leave Hunwick alone you filthy bastards!
February 10th, 2012 at 8:03 PM ^
My setup is something I've never done, and so I'm going to brag about it: Michigan on TV, Wings stream on one computer, and (U of) Detroit basketball on another computer, with mgoblog on the side.
Unfortunately, it means I really can't pay attention to anything well. And inconveniently, both hockey games went to commercial at the same time.

Anaheim up 1-0 on the Wings 1:56 1st.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:08 PM ^
I wonder if going to a different PP formation would do anything. STAEE is damn good on the PK and very disciplined (of all things). We're doing nothing with a man advantage.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:10 PM ^
They're pretty aggressive but not enough to get themselves out of position too bad. If we pass really well like we were on that last try, we'll probably get a few really good chances. A mistake could easily result in a short handed breakaway though if we turn it over at the blue line (...obviously)
February 10th, 2012 at 8:13 PM ^
Yeah. Very aggressive. Just need to be patient and make the smart passes. Eventually, we should find an opening.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:17 PM ^
It's their wingers that are making life difficult, they're big and know what they're doing, and they look good at the transition game. In this fans humble opinion, we need to get the winger off of the umbrella formation and put him down closer to the hashes and hope Merril can get something going with a little more space.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:09 PM ^
End of 1st, 0-0 at Munn.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:10 PM ^
Wings equalize 1-1
February 10th, 2012 at 8:12 PM ^
which team that I don't believe is actually good has the best chance to make the frozen four?
a) Ferris
b) Umass-Lowell
c) Union

stream torrent working beautifully
and i got the wings game on too
double bubble
February 10th, 2012 at 8:20 PM ^
The best part about watching streams is seeing the behind-the-scenes production. I'm watching Larry Murphy to get ready to go on air.

Kate Upton, sir, Kate Upton.

Abdelkader gets the goal for the Wings. My favorite Spartan. Hopefully he will be the only Spartan to score tonight!
/cheesy joke

for anybody needing the wings game on the net
February 10th, 2012 at 8:27 PM ^
BTN is showing a documentary on the Michigan Solar Car Team's recent trip to the World Solar Championships in Australia. For those of you who have read about the team on mgoblog or seen them around it will be a good way to see whats involved in solar car racing and why Michigan is one of the bests teams in the world at it. So celebrate a Michigan victory while watching Quantum race in Australia or (in the very unlikely case of a Michigan loss) enjoy watching Michigan dominate in a sport where State can't come close to competing against us.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:28 PM ^
He did what he needed to do and took the shot away, good move Chiasson.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:29 PM ^
Can we laugh at Staee blasting All-American Rejects in "the Library"?
