It shocks me that there isn't a more consistent pirated stream of BTN, like there are for the ESPNs of the world.

I bought one today and word seems to have gotten out to my family and one of megangoblue's girlfriends, and they wanted pictures. Also, I was trying to figure out if the brand was still on the same "level" as some of the others I was looking at, so the conversation took more than a second.

Wings on TV, M on radio.

It sounds like Michigan is pretty much dominating.

Wings looking good as well; I don't think Anaheim has spent any time in the offensive zone in the first 3+ minutes.

Maybe this is just be being a "I know things about hockayyy" douche, but I wish they would pan out farther for all games. I feel like the game would be much easier to explain to the girlfriend or whoever, and would also flow better when you can watch a guy backchecking on a 2-1 or whatever.

The NHL is a little better about letting you see the ice, but they're still too close for a big part of the game, IMO.

My setup is something I've never done, and so I'm going to brag about it: Michigan on TV, Wings stream on one computer, and (U of) Detroit basketball on another computer, with mgoblog on the side.

Unfortunately, it means I really can't pay attention to anything well. And inconveniently, both hockey games went to commercial at the same time.

I wonder if going to a different PP formation would do anything. STAEE is damn good on the PK and very disciplined (of all things). We're doing nothing with a man advantage.

They're pretty aggressive but not enough to get themselves out of position too bad. If we pass really well like we were on that last try, we'll probably get a few really good chances. A mistake could easily result in a short handed breakaway though if we turn it over at the blue line (...obviously)

It's their wingers that are making life difficult, they're big and know what they're doing, and they look good at the transition game. In this fans humble opinion, we need to get the winger off of the umbrella formation and put him down closer to the hashes and hope Merril can get something going with a little more space.

Sure would be nice to get a quick Kate Upton coming out of the Kate Uptown. Keep throwing the Kate Uptown at the Kate Uptown and we're bound to score.

BTN is showing a documentary on the Michigan Solar Car Team's recent trip to the World Solar Championships in Australia. For those of you who have read about the team on mgoblog or seen them around it will be a good way to see whats involved in solar car racing and why Michigan is one of the bests teams in the world at it.  So celebrate a Michigan victory while watching Quantum race in Australia or (in the very unlikely case of a Michigan loss) enjoy watching Michigan dominate in a sport where State can't come close to competing against us.
