2 things...

When is Beilein going to learn that Smotz is NOT a center?

Vogrich is terrible on defense...

I don't understand why you don't bring in McLimas to play the 5, Smotz at 4...etc. when you take Burke out.

He's too soft. And when he tried to play tough, he gets into foul trouble (like now)

I think he's fine playing the 4 on defense, but I cringe anytime Morgan comes out and he goes to 5. Novak plays the 4 MUCH better than he plays the 5.

This is why we miss Horford so much. With that said, McLimas would be my backup center, Smotz would play the 4 and the 4 only. I'd play them BOTH (Smotz and McLimas) over playing Smotz at the 5.

They didn't even review whether it was a 2 or a 3 until after MSU went down the court and scored and Michigan was about to inbound the ball.

Is that even allowed?  I would assume that the refs would only be able to review a possession through the following possession, if that makes sense.

doesn't really matter when they review it, especially since it was 5 minutes into the game.

If the game is 5 - 4 instead of 5 - 5, are you really gonna change up your game plan at all?

Obviously,  2 minutes left in the game would be a different story...

Jordan Morgan is terrible.  He's M's big man, but he can't hit a shot from three feet to save his life.  B-E-N-C-H.

People need to chill out - especially with the derogatory comments.  Everyone knows the limitations of certain players - no need to be personally offended by a player who puts on the Maize and Blue.

MSU made their first half run.  We've weathered it and have started to get behind them on offense.  That should loosen up the OTB defense and help create some things.

Believe in Beilein.  You know he'll wait for the perfect moment to bust out the 1-3-1 to spark a run.

I don't think people acknowledge that even if we lose this game by 14 points, we're still in good shape for a 5-6 seed in the NCAA tournament.  This board acts as if we are the worst team in the Big Ten whenever we aren't playing like we did against Wisconsin.

Isn't that Beilein hasn't done a real good job this year, but that he did a really crappy job this week because we obviously weren't set to match the intensity or game plan MSU came to play with. Because we're not losing; we're getting the doors blown off us in the second biggest game of the year.

Lots of game left, and even if it's more likely right now to lose by 20 than win, it's not a lost hope yet. But it doesn't change that we didn't cone ready to play today to start with, and against a rival that's bad.
