I know he is supposed to announce on Friday, but Diamond is still my guess. It being the Central timezone would give a good reason why people are saying 8:00/7:00 am.

I'm not going to make stuff up; I don't really know. We started kind of late as far as 2012 guys go, so we were never able to develop those contacts in time.

Now this may sound completely crazy but a few hints dropped on rivals...
One was that this was from "Left.......Field"
Another poster who is very well connected asking if anyone remembers John David Booty from USC.
For those that don't remember, Booty was a QB who ended up graduating HS a year early and enrolling at USC a year earlier than expected....

maybe its alluding to a three word name like dorial-green-beckham when he said john-david-booty... and word is he is supposedly with an SEC team... AND its from LEFT field.. missouri is to the left of us.
think about it... what a bigger selling point than to sell the number 1 wr, the possibility to wear the #1 michigan jersey, which for a decade, was the premier wr in football.... imagine hoke selling that beckham has a good shot to bring it back. see, all the other schools cannot offer this.

So you're suggesting Shane Morris is going to sign tomorrow? If so, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, even more so if true. Denard will be the QB next year so why would Shane waste a year? Not going to happen. They also said this isn't a Diggs level surprise, meaning no 5 star and definitely not Shane.

He'd redshirt and be able to compete for a starting position in 2013 as opposed to redshirting in 2013 and trying to overtake the returning starter in 2014 or start as a true freshman in 2013. It seems like it might give him another year as a starter.

Against a guy with 3 years experience and two in the system as a RS freshman, where if he didn't get the job he'd go from a three year to a two year starter.

<br>Unless this guy turns into the #1 recruit OVERALL in the Country, he's not beating out 3 years of college experience. How quickly we forget how highly ranked Devin was for the new hotness. Best case he comes in 2013, redshirts, learns for a year as a back up, then plays 3 years as a starter.

Wouldn't he play for 4 years as starter if he redshirts in 2013? Devin will be a junior next season, and the only season he'd be without Denard is 2013.
