OT: Newest Wolverine (Class of 2030)

Submitted by MGoCooper on

My wife gave birth to our son Saturday at 5:12 p.m. He was 7 pounds 2 ounces, and 19 inches long. His measurables were already sent to Coach Hoke, and Coach Hoke said to work on his arm length, and a scholarship would be waiting. (The Doctor thought this was funny, my wife being a Notre Dame grad was none too amused)

Shortly after this picture, I happened to put on a very important article of clothing. Hail to the victors!

He's doing great so far. I watched the M vs Ohio game from the hospital room Sunday, and he started crying considerably when Ohio pulled away in the second half. The force is strong in this one.

wow! your wife looks great for having just had a child. Enjoy the little one and cherish the time,
but dont plan on sleeping much for the next two months.

You're really setting his expectations on sleep way too high. My little guy finally started to sleep after we did cry it out at 9 months. Then he started to add 3 more teeth at once so he regressed and we had to start cry it out again when they came in. At that point, it only took a couple nights of some crying to get him back on task.

Wow, congrats!  You do good work.

Keep those options open.  My little wolverine (who is now in middle school) looks to be on the small side, so I am beginning to wonder how many Big Ten championships he'll be able to deliver to Hoke & company.  However, I still have him pencilled in for winning the Nobel prize in Physics while affiliated with the University.

Congrats.  He's going to need to add a couple of pounds, and I'm calling 4 FAKES out of 5 on his 40-yard crawl time of 13s, but he's looking good.

Enjoy every minute, sleep is over-rated, and glad to see your brainwashing has started early!  I'm sure he'll be doing the Touchdown by next season....my 2yr old daughter says "daddy has Go Blue on!" everytime I wear something with a block M.  Which is very often.  Still working on my 10month old boy...I have high hopes as well Coach Hoke!
