Reading the OL Tea Leaves

Submitted by Chi-Blue on
So as we come up to some important announcements I tend to wonder if Hoke and staff have some info of a silent commit? If you remember when Standifers recruitment started to decline there was a pickup in the recruitment of Yuri Wright. Right before most people knew we were laying off Wright we saw a sudden pickup with Reeves. Something similar took place as Pharoh Brown fell off. We have nt really heard anything about moving on to other OLman. I would assume that if things would have gone south with Diamond/Garnett/Kozan we would have seen a pickup with another name or two especially after Stacey left. Could this be a sign that we are solid with atleast one or two or . . . . . . Gulp . . . THREE!!!

All of the insiders have said that we don't have a silent commit.  Literally everyone is saying that we don't know what Kozan, Diamond, or Garnett are doing.  We have a good shot with the latter 2 and a 1/3 with Kozan.  So we will have to wait another 45 minutes to see whether we can get another great olineman.

I bet the coaches do know exactly whats going on with the OL recruits and probably could tell you where each one is going to go. With the renewed interest in Muller i personally think the coaches feel like we are going to get commitments from 2 of the 3 already on our recruiting board.

No. People out West are reporting that Garnet is not coming as he is going to Stanford.  Diamond is undecided, so I think we might not get anymore commits on the O-line.  Sorry.
