OK, this other games sucks, so get all your positive Lion talk in now, since not being able to hold a 2nd string QB to under 40 has probably killed any chance of seeing the Lions win their second playoff game in most of our lifetimes. At least I'm not still in New Orleans for it.

<br>I'm not sure it's a horrible call; it may be to the letter of the rule. The rule may just be ridiculous. It's why so many guys are throwing for 5,000 yards- it's become flag football. I'm all for protecting players and avoiding blows to the helmet and such. I'm not so keen on rules just put in there to make the NFL more like arena football.

I heard the same stat about the Patriots yesterday on ESPN. Noone considers the Broncos a playoff team.
