Just in case any other college football junkies are out there. This should be a good game. I have KSU winning in a close game.

Arkansas wasn't eligible to be in the BCS since there were already 2 SEC teams picked.

They definitely would have torched the Michigan secondary.  But their defense is not nearly as good as Virginia Tech's defense.  So it would hopefully still have been a competitive game.

There is no one better than Gus Johnson. I, too, was excited when I saw that he was calling the game.

<br>Completely off topic, but my fiancé just made quesadillas for dinner and holy cow were they good. I saved some of them for my late night snack because I will be busting out the xbox after this game to play Call of Duty.

For a bowl that used to be really prestigious, this isn't the most glamorous matchup ever.

I'm kind of picturing the network execs - "You want me to sell advertising to what matchup again ? ? ? "

I would say 6 vs. 8 is a pretty nice matchup. I know you mean it's not name programs but just looking at the ranks makes it look like a BCS game. Hate to bring it up but both teams are higher ranked then Mich, VTech, WVU, or Clemson.

I will never understand why the crowd cheers after their team wins the coin toss, as if it has any real effect on the game.

...the first time in a few bowls there has been great play in the backfield from a team.

That being said, Arkansas tries to kamikaze its way to a first  down and fails.

EDIT: Thus far, Arkansas DBs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Clemson DBs

I'm pulling for KSU, but Arkansas is just too good; better than Oklahoma, who wrecked KSU. Not saying that Arkansas will necessarily destroy KSU, but SEC tends to dominate of late.

Is DD Jones, DaQuinta Jones? Is that what that guys name was? Or did that guy go to Texas Tech and Arkansas had Pearlie Graves. I can't remember

This game has a high degree of MANBALL (lots of running and stiff D). Probably one of the most MANBALLish bowl games this season.

Edit: 2 minutes late :'(
