VIDEO: Gibbons OT winner from section 121

Submitted by Look Up_See Blue on

So me and my gang were sitting in section 121 and I had a great view of the game winning field goal.  Some apologies in advance: A) camera shaking a lot, B) my loud screaming, I was too damn excited and C) my digital camera doesn't let you zoom in/out while recording so I had to zoom in to get the kick and then everything else was also zoomed in and tough to see the rest of the video.  Hopefully you will all enjoy it anyway.  Go Blue!!!

I know I did wear it out.  Next time I will practice my game-winning reaction if its going to be on video.

Vince, you should've know i'd get in on this. I have almost the exact same video, minus the kick. Such an awesome experience for me and my bro's first game. Thanks to you vince for helping make it happen. Was a great day except for the speeding ticket on the way back to P'cola.

Excellent video.  I dont know what you shot that with but it came out pretty clear.

"38 Special" could be a great nickname for Brendan Gibbons.  However, then they would have to swap his #34 for #38 next season.....(btw who was the last great UM kicker to wear 38? answer down below).

Seriously, the kid has come a long way as a kicker and i loved seeing his swagger and humour in the press conference.  Way to go 34 Special.

Word to Drew Dileo: Hold on loosely, but dont let go..if you grip to tightly... your gonna lose control.

Police crowd control. If I remember correctly, all major cities have them, including NYC. So if it's a southern thing it has caught on in many many other places. If the sarcasm wasn't thick enough i'll try to add a few more layers.

I believe that state troopers were on the horses.  They also were all over Bourbon St. too.  The horses are huge.  I walked by a few on Bourbon and their asses were like eye level, I'm 6'0'' tall.  I'm not around horses a lot so that may be normal but they are very beautiful up close.
