More Tennessee football stuff - losing DC and LB coach

Submitted by jethro34 on

So in addition to Arnett seeking a transfer and Dooley looking bad for the way he's handling it, now their DC and LB coach are leaving to join Sarkisians staff at Washington.

You've got to wonder how all this is adding up in Danny O'Brein's mind.  I also wonder how long Dooley will be able to keep his job.  He has a 4-12 conference record in 2 seasons.  I imagine Tennessee has higher expectations than that.  They should be challening Florida and Georgia for the SEC East every year, but Dooley is 0-4 against those two teams.

I love this, I despise UT. I live in the state of TN and they are a bunch of arrogant pricks. Dooley deserves all of this. He won't coach another game in those ugly ass orange pants.

There was also this article this morning about another recruiting situation that makes Dooley look pretty bad. This part was especially dumbfounding:
Henderson is the third Georgia player to part ways with Tennessee within the last month. Flowery Branch running back Imani Cross, who was the first commitment for Tennessee’s 2012 recruiting class, backed off the Volunteers after being committed for nearly a year because he said he was told by Dooley, “They hired a new RB coach from South Carolina and don’t know if he’s a Scat guy or Spread guy, so they were re-evaluating backs and that Imani should look around at other schools.”

That Arnett should have never went there in the first place. That's what is crazy about these guys going halfway around the country when they and their families are poor, sick, etc...how does the family attend these games on the other side of the country?
