It looks like that safety might haunt MSU. 2-0 Georgia going into the 2nd quarter.

Could any QB be more overrated than Kirk Cousins? It's all because of that "special" (read: pandering, after-school-specialish) speech he gave.

is not looking good this bowl season.

Regardless....i still wont pull for MSU or Ohio St..

If i did that i would never be able to sleep at night.

And i could never take enough showers to get that ICK off of me...

Got this game on the other screen.

The Georiga D is going 'Portal' on MSU receivers. The Spartans' best drive ends in two points  for Georgia. The B1G is not looking good right now.

If this game ends up a blowout, it could cause a bit of unrest in EL, and might make a difference in one or two recruits.

Also, if Sparty does get blown out and Michigan beats VT, it is going to be tough for even the most braggadocious of Sparty fans to pound the pulpit about about being "better than Michigan."

Sparty just plain sucks in bowl games.  Even Nick Saban got blown out all the time in bowls when he was there.   The party mentality of MSU may be too ingrained for the players to resist temptation.

Dantonio to recruits: "Sure, my teams are 0-5 in games I have a month to prepare for, but they're just exhibition games. That doesn't mean I'm not the greatest coach in the universe. Speaking of Michigan, did you hear they have skeletons underneath their turf?"

Still a lot of football left to be played. I hope the Georgia D can keep this up but I have a feeling Sparty will make a second half run.

Sparty should run that one play where they complete a pass one yard short of the first down, it can't NOT work every time... right?

Between that and calling a bubble screen from your own endzone, I think the Sparty OC might be the dumbest man alive.

Georgia is a talented squad, but this game kind of reaffirms how over-prepared MSU tends to be for a couple of games every year in the Big 10, and how they apparently cannot remain that level of pereparedness in the bowl season.

The only caveat I'll give them is that last year's Alabama team, and this year's Georgia team, may be quite a bit better than their ranking.  Especially next year, Georgia should be a top-10 outfit with a chance to compete for an MNC.  That's tough for a team like MSU, which can keep up with teams they see every year but don't have the playmakers to match up against an NFL factory like UGa.
