it's b/c UM has missed the other open shots is the reason for the sputtering. Had some good looks without being able to finish. But you are right on with Morgan. He's been good in the 2nd half.

they had a nice four minute run to gain some cushion, but the man D didn't look great. However, much better rebounding for UM in 2nd half and although this team is still limited they are scrappy.
As Ron Stelanovich says, scrappiness is everything.

Memphis is down 18 to Georgetown. Our signature win has lost much of its luster.

is very, very good. They could be a final four team the way they've played to open this season. They're going to do some good things. Memphis is just in the way.

Haha no, georgetwon is in no way a final four team, memphis is not good right now, might be at the end of the season but I could probably coach an offense better than pastner, he is the reason you don't hire a coach just to keep a recruit.

Smotrycz is averaging 18.3 points and 9.5 rebounds over the last four games.

for Smot. He's up in every category over last year in a significant way. Not even half way through the season and he already has 87% of the rebounds, 55% of the assists, 67% of the blocks and 76% of the steals he had for all of last year. Additionally his FG% is up from 40% to 56% and his 3pt% is up from 38% to 55%.

Michigan hasn't had a big guy shoot the 3 like Smot since Glen Rice. Wow what a shooter.
Hardaway and Smot both are going to put 30+ point games in the future maybe even approach 40, those guys can score
I think we can stop the constant whining everytime Smot puts the ball on the floor. Clearly, Smot is doing what his coach wants, he is a true Soph and he will only get better. Get used to it.

I'm 100% sure the coaches aren't telling him to bring the ball up the floor like he attempts to do waaaaay to often with horrible results. However, he is becoming quite the flame thrower from deep. Other than the excessive dribbling I love his game.
