OT- NFL Red Zone Host
Quick OT factoid. NFL Network Red Zone host - Scott Hanson - is a Syracuse grad, but a huge UM fan. He never gets to see UM live since he always works during the season, but he's bought 50 yard line tix behind our bench for the Sugar Bowl and texted me today of how excited he is to finally get to watch UM live again after over 4 years, and see us win our second BCS game.

I've always been impressed with his commentating; he has to cover and have knowledge of every game going on at one time and never seems to get behind the action, stumble over the team and player names, etc. I recognize it's not live, so it's not quite as challenging, but he seems much more on top of things than a lot of his better-compensated colleagues at ESPN and Fox. He's a big part of what makes the NFL Red Zone so awesome.

I didn't realize I had such passion and love for the NFL Red Zone and its host until just now.

That's cool. Syracuse or Michigan, I'd be more proud to claim a pro like Scott Hanson than Smug Eisen.

thus the OT, but i like knowing which media personalities out there are big Michigan fans like Dana Jacobson, Scotty, Rich Eisen, etc., aside from the obvious Mich football grads.

Scott Hanson has one of the sweetest jobs in the world. Oh, and it's cool that he supports UofM.
