Who wouldn't want to play for Coach Hoke?  Secondly, I think he really wants to play for Michigan.  Make a good decision kid and play for the maize and blue!

Glad to see Hoke getting in for an in home visit rather than just Fred Jackson which was reported earlier.

Great for Ohio getting Urban Meyer, but for a recruit that shouldn't be the only decision maker, if you're a bruising downhill tailback, why go to a spread offense?

In two seasons Michigan will see their RBs running for 1500+ yds a season, which is perfect for Dunn.  If we don't get him though big deal, we have plenty of recruits that we're considering. I think getting Dunn is more about Michigan winning over Ohio than actually getting the player himself.  ( don't get me wrong, love to have him suit up in maize and blue)

But Toussaint had 20 carries or more in 4 of the last 5 games. The game he didn't have 20 carries, he got hurt. He had 27 carries against Illinois and 29 against Nebraska. We're already getting to that point.

This will be the first step to Hoke dominating Urban Liar in all three phases (recruiting, coaching & awesomeness).  And yes, that was a tad juvenile but it felt good.

Hopefully, Hoke is taking Mattison along with him to deliver a knock out 1-2 punch!

Urban would be scared, very scared if Mattison shows up wtih Brady.  As Urban has said on the record, "Mattison is the BEST recruiter in college football".

Someone remind Hoke to gas up before crossing into Ohio so he does not buy a drop of gas there!

There's a thread about Dunn on Bucknuts. I found this comment, in which the level of denial is just epic.

If hes still on the fence after talking to Coach Meyer then hes as good as gone. So be it. As far as being the final piece to a good Michigan team, quit drinking the kool aid. They escaped ND and a terrible OSU team. They avoided Wisky and PSU. They could easily be 8-4, 7-5. Lets see how things go in the bowl and next season before we start thinking theyre 1 player away.

Also, the justification that Michigan isn't that good because Ohio is terrible and Michigan didn't beat them by enough. I'm all in for those kinds of arguments, and I really hope that we'll see a lot of them in the future.

I feel like this guy still subconsiously believes that Michigan is way overrated and going to end up 7-5 just like last year. It's going to be a long offseason as that sinks in. He's just in the first stage of grieving.

Whelp, hate to say it, but there's a grain of truthiness to what he is saying inasmuch as there are some legitimate concerns for next year.

But he's wrong inasmuch as what ails us for next year is not BECAUSE of the direction Hoke is taking Michigan, but just Hoke having to deal with the last vestiges of the residual problems from the RRod years.  Specifically, paying the price for weak OLine recruiting preHoke.

Despite the team being better coached with one more year of Hoke and Co. under their belt, we'll still be depending on talent (or holes therein) that the university suffered preHoke.  (OLine is my biggest concern, and I happily will drink of any KoolAid offered here by fellow mgobloggers).

The season AFTER next should ring in some regular glory for us.

The guy wasn't talking about next year. He was talking about this year. The new thing that MSU and OSU fans have taken to doing is talking about how Michigan THIS year is not really all that good and Michigan could easily be 7-5 for this particular year.

Hoke will just point at the O-line and they will become a decent unit. Book it.

Can't post a new thread so this will have to suffice...a quick glance at Steve Witfong's twitter feed shows that OSU and ND are currently killing it in recruiting...

- Jordan Diamond visiting OSU this weekend

- TN soft verbal LaDarrell (seriously) McNeill is looking to visit ND

- 5* DE Noah Spence to make OV to OSU

- Davonte Neal schedules his first OV, and it is to ND

 - cryptic and paywalled, but indicates  "Couple Notre Dame positive recruiting nuggets regarding Gunner Kiel, Ifeadi Odenigbo and Arik Armstead."
