Nardudeski nailed it.  Please stop linking that silly widget.

It doesnt take rankings, poll points, computer polls, SoS, nor any of the details really needed to predict who will play in the BCS bowls.  It's almost worthless.

to play WVU, basically because it is a no win situation. If UM won they would get no credit because it is a Big East team. Not to mention WVU's passing attack makes me a little nervous, given the yards they racked up when they played LSU.

Bottom line, I would prefer to see a non-Big Least team even if it was in a non-BCS game.

Reading this blog, it seems like every possible match up is a 'no-win' unless we play Alabama. Let's just enjoy the hell out of being in a BCS bowl with a first year coach after all we've been through the last 4-5 years. Being in BCS = WIN

I am optimistic that Michigan will get an invite to the Sugar Bowl.  To prove it, I reserved four 1-bedroom condos near the stadium for Michigan fans to enjoy New Orleans and the game.  I will trade 3 nights of lodging (starting Jan 3) for 2 great seats to the bowl game.  2 additional 1-bedroom condos are available for rent, same timeline - GREAT PRICE FOR M FANS.
