I think  this is really good news after Saturday's performance -

"I met with coach Rodriguez about 10 a.m. and I must have talked with him for about an hour and a half," Forcier told thewolverine.com . "They were going to watch film and have meetings, but he continued to sit with me even though the coaches were waiting for him. We were talking, he was seeing how I liked it and he was explaining why they need me so much and the opportunity that I have to come in and play."

"I was talking with my brother and telling him how much I liked it and I talked with my dad about it," the younger Forcier said. "They both asked me the same question, 'Is this the place?' I've been to several schools and you feel good after you visit every school, but they both said it's not that type of feeling, it's a different feeling. The feeling that you know this could be the place for me.

"I told my brother that's the feeling I got and he said, 'Don't second guess it, go with your first thought.' I listen to my brother. He went through the same decision himself, so I walked into coach Rodriguez's office and gave it to him—a full-on commitment. All the coaches heard it and came running in and were congratulating me. I felt real comfortable and I think that's the place for me."

I like Tate's early confidence -

"I thought the quarterbacks did pretty good for it being the first game," Forcier told Rivals.com. "There's a lot of things I saw from the sideline even though I know it's not the same from the sideline. All I can say is that offense isn't for them, but it's tailor-made for me."

I really like this kid, he's got M in his blood -

"I've always liked Michigan a lot," Forcier told Rivals.com. "I've been a fan of Michigan since I was a little kid."

I hope he can provide what RR needs in a QB to run this offense.

still people posting the same thread days after commits have already happened? I thought we were supposed to stay on the original threads so we didn't have to keep going over old news that everyone already knew?

everyone knew Tate Forcier Committed?

Funny, I see no mention of his commitment in Brian's Monday recruting post.

The two links Brian put up refer to Forcier being in for the weekend and how hard Michigan is recruting him.

Sorry to waste your valuable time with direct quotes from a top six qb recruit that just verbally committed.

Go troll elsewhere.

No trolling here, never have. I'm just trying to point out that there are other threads already up that have been talking about the Forcier commit where you could've posted the information there. This happened with the Newsome decommit and there was post after post about it.

I didn't call you names or put you down so I don't know why your so mad? Just trying to let you know to check around before making another post about a subject that is already up.

...why are we STILL talking about potentially the most important player in the 2009 recruiting class?  He literally committed HOURS ago.  Can't we move on to something else?

Can somebody post something about what the players ate for breakfast Sunday morning?

Does anyone have any real news, like any movement on recruits for the 2013 class?

redwhiteandMGOBLUE- Thanks for posting these articles, I didn't get a chance to look for why he committed (in his words) and how he felt about it. These articles and quotes were not found in the other threads or on the recruiting board, fuckin know-it-alls.

I have no idea why some people freaked out over my post.

I was only posting links and quotes that I had not seen on this site.

Maybe those that were so angered over my post are still upset after Saturday's game but whatever, their problems lie on their shoulders not mine.

I'm glad I was able to give you some info you hadn't seen/heard.

titled "Forcier Commits". If you already knew and don't care to read more about it, just don't open the fucking thread. Obviously, some of you people's time is SOOOOOO valuable that the portion of a second that was wasted glancing at this thread's title pissed you off enough to waste even more of your valuable time flaming the OP. Why, I don't know.

As for me, I recognize and appreciate the fact that while the OP is not exactly breaking a new story, he made up for it with content. I have not seen any of those articles posted here yet and I thank you, OP, for posting links to them.

It's funny to read The Wolverine when it comes to recruiting. In one issue Shavodrick beaver says something like,"They said I could be like Pat White and Shaun King and that really pumped me up." lol. In that same issue Bryce McNeal was like,"They said I could turn short passes into big gains." And or yards-after-catch in space. Does it work? YUP! lol. it's just funny though. It was also fun reading Forcier's webpage and seeing the actual letters. Little by little RR will build this beast. I wonder what Carr used to tell people? "Well we'll run you 55 times a game and by the time you leave Ann Arbor your knees will be jello."

I wonder how he compares to his brothers in High School. Both brothers were notable High School prospects, but neither has seemed to be ready at the College level. I wonder, is this kid more talented than the other two?
