My "Cool Story bro" story
I was eating at Pizza House last night with my family when I noticed three athletic guys sitting at a table in the corner, but none of them looked familiar.
The highlights of the game came on and someone started to sing The Victors but it didn't take hold. Then someone else started singing, "It's Great To Be A Michigan Wolverine." The whole room enthusiastically started to sing.
I looked over at the table of athletic guys. One of them was eating pizza, hunkered down, but he was pumping his fist in the air to the singing. Soon after, they left.
Fast forward to two minutes ago. I just turned on The Game on BTN and a picture of Kenny Demens flashed on the screen. It was Kenny Demens who pumped his fist and ate pizza as the room serenaded him. I didn't see anyone acknowledge him - maybe , like me, no one knew it was him. But now that I know it was him, what a great impromptu moment. I hope he enjoyed it.

I looked all over for the "I saw Kenny Demens at Pizza House" thread and couldn't find it.

I look at the board and I see too "Cool Story bro" threads, two "my thoughts on Urban Meyer" threads, and 4 "Michigan BCS" threads. This board is the department of redundancy department.

You want redundancy? Here's redunancy:
too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2. too = also, two = 2.

While most games were blowouts on TV last night I was watching the Marshall game with my son. At one point Marshall neared the endzone to get to overtime. A Marshall player performed well and continued the drive. His response? The Denard 'We're hungry feed ourselves' gesture. My son and I looked at each other and cackled with glee...and then cheered Marshall on to victory.

Damian Williams and Chris Johnson of the Tennesse Titans did it today too after a touchdown, I'm not so certain that Denard actually started it.

As did Aqib Talib after his pick 6 today.

Robert Woods has been doing it everytime he scores a TD this year. While not started by Denard, I love it given what this team has gone through.

BJ Raji did it last year against the giants.

For me.
I found out—through the guys who lived in our house last year—that Martavious Odoms, Ricky Barnum and Kenny Demens lived in my house. Apparently they had subleased three rooms for the summer. My housemate and I somewhat dismissed it as bs. However, a couple weeks later, my other house mate was cleaning his room (the one where Odoms had supposedly lived the summer before) and found in an opening between the ceiling and the wall (it's kind of a strange basement room with a gap over the door about a foot tall, where things could be stored), and low and behold, we found a small "M. Odoms #9" cardboard sign. So apparently I'm living in the same room that Demens did last year.
/Finish cool story bro

Do you pay it?
November 27th, 2011 at 10:20 PM ^
Sadly so.

As a note, that "M. Odoms #9" sign is now proudly displayed on the wall of our TV room/Man Den/All things michigan sports room.

I clicked on this thread to read the story. A few clicked on it to bitch. I'm sure it never happens on any other message board, right? Grow up.

I was at Denny's after the game and there was a table full of Ohio fans. Some of the Ohio fans had ordered milkshakes, so I walked over to the table and drank their fucking milkshakes.
November 27th, 2011 at 10:31 PM ^
Love it. Would have been better if you handed their milkshakes to other Michigan fans and then knocked the Ohio fans out.
November 27th, 2011 at 10:32 PM ^
Why drink their milkshakes when ours are better? Our milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard. Damn right, it's better than yours.
November 27th, 2011 at 10:37 PM ^
If you had a milkeshake, and they had a milkshake, and you had a giant straw that stretched acroooooooooossss the room into their milkshake and drinks their milkshake, then that there would be cool story bro. what you're describing is just mean. you're mean, JBE, a big old meanie.
November 27th, 2011 at 10:45 PM ^
So, folks in red sweaters are either mean or are liars.

I don't know why, but that made me laugh my ass off. Awesome post.

"Milkshakes are for closers"
November 27th, 2011 at 10:33 PM ^
This is probably more appropriate, given who the OP is.

thanks for the story, Wendy.
