in Windsor.

Heard they were at the business school taking classes on tax. Just how to file them properly, nothing too hard.
November 20th, 2011 at 4:22 PM ^
He may have been asking for reviews of any number of establishments in the Eight Mile and Van Dyke area.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:12 PM ^
Thanks
November 20th, 2011 at 1:17 PM ^
Really? Did I miss something? I thought that people would like to know this info.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:21 PM ^
It was on here yesterday , but thanks. I'm excited for a chance at a BCS return. Michigan is huge. From Denard to our great traveling fan base. The fiesta bowl wants us.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:15 PM ^
I dont think there could be a more impressive game for him to go to than that one. Beat OSU, and we're BSC bound!
Not that its a big deal at this point, if we beat OSU I'll be happy either way. A BSC bowl would still huge, though. That would be one hell of a recruiting pitch, to get to a BSC game in Hoke's first year.
November 20th, 2011 at 2:26 PM ^
I don't know if it's as simple as beating OSU.
Right now we're 16 in one poll, 17 in the other. We would have to be in the top 14 next week to get a BCS bid.
Even if we beat OSU (I think we will) will we be in the top 14? I think we probably will but it's not a given.
November 20th, 2011 at 3:32 PM ^
Well, look at it this way: Michigan will likely be BCS no. 16. Assuming Michigan beats tOSU (which is, to me, probably more important than any bowl bid), it is guaranteed that at least two teams ahead of Michigan will lose one more game. Wisconsin/Michigan State will lose once more, Oklahoma/Oklahoma State will lose once more. These are locks (even if Wisky does not make the B10 title game, it will mean they lose to Penn State, which knocks them below Michigan).
Add to that the very strong likelihood that Georgia loses the SEC title game, and you have Michigan a virtual top 14 lock.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:16 PM ^
Because the former Fiesta Bowl Director will soon live in the big house.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:25 PM ^
hype about either Michigan or Nebreaska going to the BCS at-large bid, I wasn't surprised to here a rep was there. And Tom VH tweeted there was also a Gator Bowl rep there to.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:37 PM ^
If we go to the gator bowl I will be displeased.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:25 PM ^
So you're sayin there's a chance?
November 20th, 2011 at 1:26 PM ^
wow, i wasn't buying any of this BCS at large bid stuff...but it's getting serious isn't it? we're projected to play in the sugar bowl right now i think, against houston. assuming that msu gets beat by wisconsin in the b10 championship game.
November 20th, 2011 at 2:44 PM ^
Whomever loses will have three losses. A 2 loss Michigan team will not just be ahead in the BCS standings, but also will have the advantage of greater program prestige, and a dynamo at QB.
If Michigan beats Ohio they will more than likely go to a BCS game because of the above factors. The loser of the BTCG will go to the Capital One game.
November 20th, 2011 at 3:34 PM ^
Very excite (borat voice) bcs :)
November 20th, 2011 at 7:44 PM ^
2006 called... It called you lame
November 20th, 2011 at 1:28 PM ^
If Michigan beats Ohio this Saturday it doesn't matter what MSU does. We will have a great shot at a BCS game.
November 20th, 2011 at 1:31 PM ^
If Michigan makes it to the Fiesta, who's the likeliest opponent? Stanford? Oklahoma?
November 20th, 2011 at 1:43 PM ^
The Fiesta has a tie-in with the Big 12, so it would likely be whichever team wins Bedlam.
November 20th, 2011 at 2:00 PM ^
I assumed it'd be the Big East champ?
November 20th, 2011 at 4:23 PM ^
I think CBS sports predicted we could go against Houston in the Sugar. Big East champ might be lower than Houston this year, if that could influene a bowl's choice of teams.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:08 PM ^
I would like that. I think we can crush Houston. I think just about any team in the top 25 and in a BCS conference would crush them though.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:45 PM ^
Does the Big Yeast really get an auto bid?
November 20th, 2011 at 1:39 PM ^
THANK GOD
Without an all expenses paid vacation to Ann Arbor, there is no way he would know how good Michigan is!
November 20th, 2011 at 7:42 PM ^
Why do these bowl reps actually travel to the location of the teams? What insight do they gain that they wouldn't from watching on TV?
November 20th, 2011 at 1:40 PM ^
Saw this on twitter around 12:30pm yesturday while at the game. Gator bowl Rep there as well.
November 20th, 2011 at 2:09 PM ^
If we go the Fiesta, hopefully we can send extra compliance staff to avoid trouble.
November 20th, 2011 at 2:49 PM ^
that's pretty interesting. maybe he wanted to see what our fanbase is like in how it may translate to the fiesta bowl.
November 20th, 2011 at 2:49 PM ^
This is being overblown. The Fiesta Bowl rep was there because he's also the Insight Bowl rep. Men from all of the top B1G bowls were there yesterday, excepting the Rose Bowl.
November 20th, 2011 at 6:16 PM ^
I choose to see him as the Fiesta Bowl rep.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:40 PM ^
That's funny because I was standing next to him and he was wearing the yellow blazer with a nameplate that said tostitos fiesta bowl board of directors. Why was he wearing that if he was repping the insight.com bowl?
November 20th, 2011 at 3:05 PM ^
If LSU and 'Bama go to the title game, the Sugar Bowl will get the first pick. Expect them to pick Michigan if we beat OSU. We've got the best fanbase and travel well. Stanford might be more attractive for the Fiesta Bowl, but then we'd go straight back to the Sugar Bowl.
November 20th, 2011 at 3:28 PM ^
If both title game participants don't come out of the SEC, the Sugar Bowl will almost certainly replace the SEC champ with the next best SEC team. If Ok. State makes the title game (presumably against an SEC opponent), the Fiesta would get back-to-back picks and I think we'd see Michigan vs. Stanford in that game. If Virginia Tech makes the title game (again, presumably facing off against an SEC team), I'm pretty sure the Orange Bowl would take us over Stanford (long travel, just there last year, smaller fanbase). After that there aren't any one loss teams that look like they are in a position to win their conference title (I don't think the BCS will put a team like that into the title game from anywhere outside the SEC).
So I guess that means we could end up anywhere. Guess I was wrong about the "lot of options" thing. Travel arrangements will just have to wait another couple of weeks.
November 20th, 2011 at 3:47 PM ^
Michigan-Stanford would be a whole lot of fun. It would be a nice way to repay Jimmy Hardballs for all his smack talk a few years back. It may also be the most difficult match up for Michigan if they make a BCS bowl.
November 20th, 2011 at 7:23 PM ^
I'm pretty sure Jim Harbaugh doesn't give a fuck about a game being played between 2 schools he didn't want to coach at. I'm sure his hands are full with teaching Alex Smith how to throw a football, anyways.
November 20th, 2011 at 4:24 PM ^
That wouldn't be so bad really. I like the sound of that.
The Michigan fanbase: Educated, passionate, mobile.
November 20th, 2011 at 5:59 PM ^
I would love to see a rematch of MSU and Alabama. hahahahahahaha
