Does Anyone Believe There Is Anything New to Say?

Submitted by UMFootballCrazy on
I think we are now reaching the darkest hours of the offseason. Other than recruiting news there is nothing new to say. Spring ball is now a distant memory. As best we are going over and over the same dead carcass again and again and again looking for a few "edible" scraps with which to sustain ourselves. That we have now had 4+ threads asking whether or not we would want to go 9-3 or 7-5 and beat OSU tells you where we are at. There is nothing new left to say until pre-season starts and we get our first bits of propganda from the program. Me, I am clutching my five tickets in section 42 where my wife and three sons will be sitting September 5 as my beacon of hope to get me through this dark hour. The season cannot start soon enough and yet we are still 51 days away...it is not unlike St. John of the Cross's dark night of the soul...

There's lots of new and exciting things to fight to the death about! How about the incredibly new and original story of a transferring O-Lineman saying Rich Rod has poor family values? http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/Headlinin-R… It's like nothing I've ever heard before! Thanks Kurt Wermers! When commenting remember to maximize your originality by remembering to: A) Quote a current player who likes the RR environment B) Note Rodriguez's recruiting accomplishments C) Point out that the offending player was recruited by Lloyd for a different system D) Make a conditioning crack Have fun being new and inventive everyone!

Was just reading the post on Valenti yesterday. Someone commented on him being the best radio host in Detroit. Got me thinking... does anyone know whats happening with Stoney and Wojo or Baligian?? Havent heard anything from them since they got the boot from CC.

i think it's better right now than it was a few weeks ago since there's some transfers, pre-season previews/predictions are starting to go up, same old recruiting news, and the last of the guys are all qualified. about a month ago the mgoboard was just littered with OT posts, like the majority of the posts on the first page were OT

Before I posted anything to this particular post I decided to wait and see what other topics this board would come up with and out of all those post this one is the best one. Are our offensive linemen overweight? I like a lil meat on our line at least that could help them from getting pushed around by DTs. There’s also implications about whether or not Turner is in; I’ll just wait until RR says something b/c I’m no position to get my hopes up (see 3-9 season). With that being seeing said these next 50 days couldn’t go fast enough b/ce there is clearly nothing to talk about. Until then Go BLUE!!!
