OT: an MDen LOL(!?)

I was looking through the MDen website when I found this...

An official TechFit jersey for $350!

I know they want to make money on this but good luck. I don't even think Michigan will wear the TechFit jerseys anymore since they haven't worn them since the game against northwestern.

I think they should make people try to tear the jersey off Denard. That'll really bring up its value while providing a more direct metaphor for student-athlete abuse.

Note that Lewan is wearing TechFit, but Toussaint is not)

I can find more, but it would just be redundant. Take a look at Toussaint's jerseys on one of the many close ups they're bound to give him after last week. See if you think there's an inefficient amount of fabric used to make his jersey.

I paid almost 200 dollars less for a authenic Charles Woodson jersey this year. I actually got a home and away number 2 jersey for less than the 350 dollars they are asking. Plus mine came with a letter of authenticity not that anyone wants mine but 350 is too much imo. I mean Denard is great but he is no Chuck Woodson and I was very happy to get those thru the auction in early September.

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread but I found this interesting "Three new four-stars in the Midwest, and a few other changes in the Scout300 highlighted here: recruiting.scout.com/2/1129069.html " per Trieu's twitter

Will there be three curves of fabric under way too much tension formed accross my chest when I wear it too? If I don't get the "this jersey does not fit Denard Robinson" effect, then I can't be expected to shell out $350 for a jersey that was likely thrown in the garbage by the football equiptment managers.

Adidas sucks, in Swoosh I Trust.  There is a reason why Nike is the #1 Sports Brand in the world worth $15 Blllion.

Yes, also funding Nike is kind of like indirectly cutting a check to whichever 5* Chip Kelly wants right now.  Not sure how I feel about being deep in bed with Nike.  That whole camp this summer where all the top prospects went to Oregon's facilities on Nike's dime felt kind of sketchy.

They're also the #1 Sports Brand in sweat shops in the world.

I like the adidas gear, But COME ON. $350? I got my authentic adidas #2 home jersey off ebay for $30 (regular price of $150).

Also who in their right mind would buy that if Michigan never wears them again? What's the point?

Before all the "Pro-combat" crap Nike started throwing out, I would have preferred them. Then again, I never saw the Notre Dame/Michigan game stuff coming out of Adidas, either. Please, just stick with the best colors and uniforms in college football.
