Probably not.  Maize Outs are usually early in the season when the weather is warmer.  Your typical fan doesn't own cold weather maize gear, so Maize Outs in November don't usually work so well.

Not only that, but I think they would save that for the Ohio game anyway. It doesn't matter though because of what you said though. Maize gear isn't very common methinks. I'd love to see the entire stadium in maize, but it never happens. PSU and their white outs are the best.

My guess is because dark blue doesn't really "pop" off the screen.

Michigan as a whole, including Detroit teams is pretty horrible with the "wear the same color!" thing.  Look at the Red Wings.  They've been telling people for YEARS to wear red during playoff games.  Do you ever see Wings playoff games with the majority of people in red?  It's not like JLA has an open roof.

Even though Nebraska is a recent addition to the B1G, they are a major football power that has affected our program in the past 20 years. I mean, has everyone forgotten about 1997 already or what?

is twofold.  First, as discussed above, not much warm weather maize out there...need to get the word out about buying a HUGE oversized T to go over your coat.  Second, maize-outs are poorly communicated to the masses.  Unless you're on a message board or have other constant contact, nobody hears about it.  Older fans are part of the problem, but many of them would participate if they knew about it.
