Probably not. Maize Outs are usually early in the season when the weather is warmer. Your typical fan doesn't own cold weather maize gear, so Maize Outs in November don't usually work so well.

Not only that, but I think they would save that for the Ohio game anyway. It doesn't matter though because of what you said though. Maize gear isn't very common methinks. I'd love to see the entire stadium in maize, but it never happens. PSU and their white outs are the best.

1) Put long sleeve shirt or Under Armor on
2) Put Sweatshirt (preferably maize, but does not have to be) or jacket on over that.
3) Put Maize T-Shirt (or whatever your "warm weather" maize gear is) on over that.
4) ???
5) PROFIT!
Every week should be a "Maize Out".

No dude, I'm gonna be around.

I will be wearing it for OSU, but it will be fleece or wool unless we have a heat wave.

Every week is a maize out. Time for folks to get it together.

Never understood why we don't do a blue-out considering out home jerseys are blue.
November 12th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
My guess is because dark blue doesn't really "pop" off the screen.
Michigan as a whole, including Detroit teams is pretty horrible with the "wear the same color!" thing. Look at the Red Wings. They've been telling people for YEARS to wear red during playoff games. Do you ever see Wings playoff games with the majority of people in red? It's not like JLA has an open roof.

Why do they hand out white towels then? Mixed messages!

Even though Nebraska is a recent addition to the B1G, they are a major football power that has affected our program in the past 20 years. I mean, has everyone forgotten about 1997 already or what?

Next week is keep the red our. Nebraska travels well. Let's not sell em tickets. Expect a lot of go big red too... I'm having flashbacks of the Alamo bowl...

Sorry for the double post but keep the Red Out. Dang autocorrect

BRING YOUR VISINE!!!

is twofold. First, as discussed above, not much warm weather maize out there...need to get the word out about buying a HUGE oversized T to go over your coat. Second, maize-outs are poorly communicated to the masses. Unless you're on a message board or have other constant contact, nobody hears about it. Older fans are part of the problem, but many of them would participate if they knew about it.
