De La Salle - Cass Tech Live Stream

Submitted by MGoBeer on
Fox Sport Detroit has a live stream of tonight's high school action. Shane Morris vs. RJS / T-Rich. Anyone know anything about this? The games are not available now but I assume it's free. Here's the link for all the wannabe scouts: http://www.foxsportsdetroit.com/pages/prepzone

The live stream will start in the "centerpiece" area just before 7 p.m. And yes, it's free.

Looks like there are four games tonight -- at 7, just click on the one you want to watch. They're all listed just under the video player. DLS-Cass Tech is listed lower right.

The webcasts are separate from the telecasts, so the DLS-Cass Tech game probably won't be on TV. There's typically one game selected for TV and then the website picks up whatever the other best options are. Long story short, the cable companies don't like simulcasts.

Joe COCKran does a lot of DLS sporting events. I remember playing spectator in the student section for him. It was a simple section split cheer. One side yelling "JOE" and they other "COCK." Oh the days of single-sex education.

Just learned that Shane Morris is also the punter, then saw him fake the punt and throw for the first down. And I didn't think I could love this recruit any more.

Catch the ball in the basket.  I have that problem with all my receivers who want to turn their shoulders to catch the ball, rather than continuing to run and let the ball fall into the basket.
