McGary to sign LOI tomorrow

Submitted by seegoblu on

reported on another site that MM has decided to sign on the opening day of the early signing period...that's a relief. Takes execution risk out of the equation.

"...pos-banged to Bolivian..."

How does that work?

It must be like the one time in 5th grade when I was playing Madden, and I set it on 15 minute quarters with difficulty at rookie to see how many passing yards I could get, and I passed for so many yards my stats went into the negatives.

anyone else notice how often Max was on the score boards for purdue? It was odd. I felt like everytime I looked up there he was!

We need some sort of name for him - like Lloyd Brady or facepalm guy. Madmax, no that's dumb.

Do football committs tend to decommit more often than basketball commits before signing day? Thats what it seems like to  me, so I was curious if that was everyone elses impression as well.

I would say it's about the same, there's just a lot fewer basketball commits per team than there are football so it's easier for the coaches to stay in contact with them and make sure they're feeling comfortable. Also the early signing period helps. But for anyone who thinks there aren't many decommits in basketball, there's always the case of Alex Legion.

That's good news.  When he committed it seemed like he was unsure if he would sign early or not.  I wonder what pushed him to go ahead and sign during the early signing period.  Surely, the continuing NBA lockout could be a factor.
