Taking the short drive over from Springfield, IL on a bus with 20 or so people (only about 4 UM fans though).  Two years ago was the miserable I have been in a while leaving a CFB game.

Anyone have 2-4 tickets in the Michigan section that they have for sale?  Planned on scalping before the game, and will Illinois losing 3 straight, prices are dropping fast (I hope).  But I would love to sit in the Michigan section if possible.

I'll post me email if anyone has tickets.  Thanks!

For us fans that go to the games, noon starts KILL the opportunity for a great tailgate (especially since I have over a 2 hour drive to AA).   I'm staying about an hour away for Iowa and Illinois ... so that helps a tiny bit, but still we have had only one 3:30 start this year and that was the opener.

IDK, it's really a toss up, particularly if we win this week. Both OSU-PSU and UM-NU are crucial for their respective divisions, both involve the 4 biggest fan bases in the conference. Penn State and OSU have been on ABC a lot this year in the 330 slot. Does that mean those teams draw higher ratings? Or does that mean the network's likely to go another way?

If the networks could make their choices one week ahead, that would certainly make things much more clear, as Nebraska and PSU play the week before. If PSU wins, their game against OSU would allow PSU to clinch their division; if nebraska wins, it would potentially set up a 9-1/9-1 showdown. But they have to chose 12 days before, so they have to guess.

Being in the central time zone, I'm split on 11 am kick offs.

Pro's: I don't have to be nervous and irratable all day waiting for kickoff (I tend to get obsessive and overthink), and I get to start drinking before noon.

Con: I start drinking before noon, fall asleep at 4, and don't get anything else done.

Pro's have it! Bring on the early kickoffs!

...they are showing a 10am kickoff haha. Pretty funny.

I enjoy the 3:30 games better. Gives plenty of time to drink before and after the game. I'm not much of a morning person so having a noon game doesn't give me a ton of time.

I see a lot of evening kick offs. They are a lot of fun to watch because of the atmosphere of the stadium... It would be fun to see more night games in the big 10 but I understand the reasons why not.

I used to think I would hate that too, but you wanna know the truth?  It fucking rocks.  A part of me will always and forever miss Pacific Time.  You wake up on Saturday and Sunday and the games are on.  The night games?  5:00 in the evening, also known as "perfect time to start hitting the bars or hosting your party."  You don't have to stay up til stupid hours to watch Monday Night Football or the NHL playoffs.  The Tigers and Wings and Pistons are on right when you come home from work.

I suppose if one can't be arsed to get out of bed before the crack of noon, it would be a problem.  But 9 or 10 AM is a perfectly reasonable time to sleep in until.  I guess I would hate actually going to a football game that began at 9 AM, but obviously that is not even a possibility.
