Thoughts on Michigan State and tSio game

Submitted by wresler120 on

This has basically been a snoozefest up to this point. tSio looks pathetic and Michigan State still likes to try to take themselves out of the game with foolish penalties and turnovers at the worst time. BJ Cunningham is definitely a freakish receiver ... he really uses his size well. William Gholston is playing much better this game, but acts like a fool when he makes big plays ... talking trash in opponents faces and pointing.  I wouldn't be real excited if I were rooting for either of these teams.

It seems to me like tSio is giving up on the season by giving the reigns to Braxton Miller. He shows his freshman instincts .. and is too quick to try running. His passes are off target and wobbly. Bauserman gives tSio the best opportunity to win, but apparently Fickell is willing to trade wins for the experience his young QB is getting.

After the CO game last week, I thought the OSU QB may be good enough to move the offense and get some points. I guess not.  Only surprising thing is how weak the spartans offense really looks. As long as Michigan can score some points on their defense, I think we will have a good chance to beat them in East Lansing!  Michigan just needs to take it one game at a time. No let down at Northwestern!

Is non existent..For all the talk about Michigans struggling passing game, the MSU running game is far worse!

who in this conference is good?? wisconsin and....?

we already knew that purdue, minnesota, iowa, indiana and northwestern really sucked in one way or another but then today penn state nearly coughs one up to indiana (that team that lost to north texas), nebraska just got crushed by wisconsin, and michigan state and ohio state both played a game that both teams deserved to lose (10 points ain't enough to win against a good team, nor is 2 YPC)

I mean, sometimes I think we're a clear cut #2 or #3 in this conference behind wisconsin and maybe nebraska

And I don't think Iowa and Northwestern  are all that bad - certainly in the same strata as we are. Northwestern is downright good with Persa. As for Nebraska, they got smoked by a top ten team. They are not a top ten team. They were overrated, but I wouldn't put them behind us.

We may be #2 or 3 in the B1G, but it's not clear cut by any means. I'm beginning to think it may not be crazy to think about hoping for a trip to Indianapolis. But let's beat a B1G team that didn't lose handily to an FCS team first.
