Still early but Illinois looks decent against a ranked ASU. Offense seems to be moving the ball. Scheelhause definitely reminds me of somebody to a lesser degree.

It is not a terribly unrealistic prediction. All the upcoming games should be easy wins with the exception of NU and MSU. NU lost to Army today and I don't think they are as good as most people were thinking before the season. MSU will be very tough especially on the road , but we have a hope of pulling out a win.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves and call these easy games. SDSU scares me given our deficiencies on both sides of the ball. Also, due to the past 3 seasons, I will never, ever, ever discount a B1G opponent.

I'd imagine losing the coaching staff that took you to a bowl in years would negatively effect the team.

They can certainly prove me wrong but I think it's a joke that Florida State is ranked that high. They have been getting the Notre Dame treatment in that they have a ton of hype for beating a bunch of unranked teams last year.
