As a graduate of the other Midland High school, Dow High, seeing a Midland High guy not go to Michigan and choose a crap team instead doesn't surprise me.

As a graduate of Midland High I am incredibly bummed out by this.  I saw his family last night and wanted to tell them GO BLUE! but I didn't want to come off as a total creep.  I could kind of see this coming a little while back when I was able to remove my blinders.  His Mom being an MSU grad and his Dad loving the good guys.  Easy to see how he might end up out of state.  Oh well, in 16 years my son will get his Michigan offer and then we will finally see a Chemic suit up for the Wolverines.  One can dream anyways....

I was always under the impression that Steve was Irish bound.  I saw him at the Lions-Patriots game a few weeks ago, and he was wearing a Notre Dame shirt.  Long way to go til Signing Day tho

i agree, as long as michigan is winning the recruiting battles with michigan state and ohio state, and michigan addresses every positions of need, then we will be fine.

He'd visited ND a lot, every time he went to another school he would come back and visit ND. Whether you believe me or not, The UM game last week probably sealed the deal for ND.

He looked to be a ND lean for a while based on his visits, and then UM and MSU were the 2 teams trailing.  He just recently confirmed he had a leader, I would be really surprised if he felt the same last weekend and still made the UM visit.
