Projected to be the best CB in Ohio, an absolute beast IMO. We`re a little late to the party..with offers from several BCS schools, including osu. Considered a heavy buckeye lean, offering cant hurt though. He had a really good time at the game last saturday, here is a free article on 247: http://247sports.com/Article/Michigan-offers-Future247-prospect-40138

Danny O`Brien said he has a date in mind for his commitment, oct 7 (his homecoming)... not in stone. I like our chances, just need to fend off UT.

Steve Wiltfong (247 analyst) on Dunn's recruitment:

"Michigan is definitely in the mix. Anyone that says otherwise is misinformed.

The Wolverines staff is doing a great job recruiting Dunn. In my story it reads that Fred Jackson compares Dunn to Tyrone Wheatley. Who wouldn't want to be compared to Tyrone Wheatley? Jackson also tells Dunn and his coach that Michigan thinks he's the best RB in America. Very flattering, and a prospect can't ignore that. Plus the opportunity to play next fall at Michigan is intriguing.

Dunn also told me he wants to get to Michigan for a game this fall. He originally planned to be at the Ohio State game but seeing his schedule, he hopes to be playing deep into the Ohio state tournament that weekend. So he doesn't miss the atmosphere of a Wolverines game, he told me he'll try and get up there sooner.

I would be zero-percent surprised if Dunn ended up in Ann Arbor. If someone made me predict right now, I'd say Michigan. Obviously it's recruiting and a lot of things are going to change and develop as he visits Ohio State again and things like that, but I really like the Wolverines as of 9/14/2011 at 11am (EST)."

pretty encouraging yes

I remember hearing a lot about dunn decommiting way back when kalis did but it went away, than came back and was supposed to be a secret. Who knows what is really going on but I would assume that if at anytime he switched his commitment we would be the last to know about it because the backlash would be 10X worse than what we saw from kalis.

The OP did say that Burrows is an OSU "lean". Guess he wasn't kidding, huh ?

BTW - I can't help but notice that if you look at our schedule, we don't play Northwestern until Oct. 8, and the games before that aren't our hardest. We could easily be heading into Danny O' Brien's announcement date unbeaten. UT, on the other hand might beat Buffalo, but I don't know that they can sneak past the Gators. I know that he is clever enough not to make his decision based on the W/L record before even the halfway mark, but we might have a bit more momentum and buzz than the Vols do at that point in the year.

I'm probably clutching at straws with that, but there's nothing wrong with a little optimism as far as recruiting goes. . . .

So what if O'Brien commits to Michigan because of our record, but then loses every game after that?  That just means he probably decommits (if he committed based off our record).  The second half of the season probably matters even more than the first half of the season in actuality.

I saw Fred Jackson the other day and he was telling me about a kid who was faster than Carl Lewis, bigger than Taylor Lewan, had better hands than a neurosurgeon, and shot lightning bolts out of his eyes.  Then he said Dunn is better than that kid.
