I am currently watching the 2009 game of this rivalry. Recorded it from BTN yesterday. I want to see the 2010 game also, but they didn't show it, at least as far as I know.

I really wish I didn't have a 10 AM meeting tomorrow. Too bad we have to meet before we all leave for Germany on Sunday. Did just buy a student ticket for $150 though.

Some Fred Jackson Hyperbole:

On the game:

This game has the intensity of Ali-Frazer, but with bigger stakes.  It is sort of like the SuperBowl, only more exciting, more hyped and harder to score a ticker.

On my emotions:

Right now, Michgoblue is more nervous than a 18 year old guy waiting for his girlfriend's pregnancy test results, only the stakes are higher for him and the outcome more life altering.

On Brian Kelly:

Brian is crazy.  He is like a cross between Charles MAnson's lunacy with Dahmer's calculating insanity.  Only much more evil and more capable of doing damage.

This will be my first game at the big house!! Drove by the big house on the way to dinner and the feeling was unbelievable. Been waiting for this day for about 18 years and so far it's been a dream come true. Go Blue!!!

HAIL 2 VICTORS

About to catch a Soutwest flight from KC to Chicago then next stop AA.  Grab a quick dinner at Frida's (TY Brian) time permitting and then I am the old guy that forced his ND friend (my year to host the trip) to sit in the student section.  If you see a black guy in Green standing next to a tall Arian looking guy in Section 30 row 30 GIVE THE IRISH FAN HELL!

Oh, get ready. During the ASU/Mizzou halftime break, Dr. Lou is about to spit some wisdom about tomorrow's game into the camera lens.

EDIT: My bad. Desmond et al. are discussing it. Damn, was looking forward to Dr. Lou's 100-0 ND victory prediction.

EDIT2: OK, the spitpick is coming up next. Wonder who he'll go with?

EDIT3: You won't believe this, but Dr. Lou said Notre Dame was a "no-brainer." Mark May picked ND too.

Or are we getting absolutely no respect from anyone across the country.  Every analyst, writer, ect.. have us getting our asses kicked.  I keep hearing give the points...This is BS!!! I'm not saying were going to for sure win but come on!!!!  We've won two in a row, ND is being way overhyped.  I keep hearing how they one they're last 4 last year, ect... People have a short memory when it comes who they beat.  I see a high scoring( but not too high) game, stays close until the end, our defense makes a play to stop them in the end.

Final Score:

Michigan 34

NotreDame 28

The SWAMI has spoken

So you say the fact we beat them the past two years means we should beat them this year?  You then go on to say how their wins last year don't mean they are good.  And people don't give us national credit and hype because we do not deserve it.  What have we done to have all the analysts drooling over our team?  Who cares if they think ND is a better team it will make the win that much sweeter!

taking the red eye flight to arrive at 6 am in Metro for the game.

GO BLUE!!

Didn't realize that I'll be flying out back to Vegas on the 10th anniversary for 9/11. Guess I'll head out to the airport early.

your so lucky you get to watch the game! I know this has been discussed on a previous thread.  Just can't believe they put BC vs UCF on my tv here in Canada.  Looks like I have no choice but to order the whole damn package for 100.  Plus side I get to watch all college football, and basketball.

Still would of been nice to be in AA!

My son got me up at 5:25 AM this morning, and although he has done nothing except consume Cheerios up to this point, I am hoping he is as excited as I am. Otherwise, he owes me as much as a four year-old is capable of owing their father.
