Wow the Mac is gettiing high level transfers. Well high level guys that didn't pan out so well. Western has dan o'niell (sp?) vlad emielien for Toledo and now stokes to bgsu. Wasn't wright at bg as well iirc?

Wright did not have his fifth year granted at UM and transferred to BG (with the transfer rule allowing for a graduated player to transfer and be eligible without sitting out a year as long as it is for graduate school and in a program that the original institution does not have)
He punted for BG last year as a 5th year senior, and played against UM

but what grad program do they offer that UM does not?

i believe it was hospitality or something like that

The transfers the MAC is getting is MAC level talent.

I wish Stokes luck and am glad that he found somewhere to play football. It's too bad he didn't stay at Michigan because our WR depth may be iffy next year, but he had to do the right thing for himself.

He gets to play with his brother and he should have a more featured role in the offense next year. Most of all, he didn't bitch or whine on the way out.

I loved Stokes and was really excited when he chose UM. I don't know why it didn't work out for him here, but I certainly wish him the best. It would be cool playing with your brother as the QB if you were a WR as well. Good luck to both of them.

To Je'ron. He should tear it up next year in the MAC.

I always liked Je'Ron and hope he does well. Do we have BGSU on our schedule at all the next couple years? Would love to see him out on the field.

Clawson was the OC at Tennessee when he originally commited there, so this transfer makes quite a bit of sense.
Also, maybe he will make Michigan look silly by being that one WR that BG's offense revolves around ala Freddie Barnes in 09, which, if he does, good for him.

but really bummed. I thought this would be his year in AA. FFFFFUUUuuuuuu

Alright MAC getting some more talent, thankfully it's in the East so Central shouldn't have to face him more than possibly once. Best of luck to him

Doesn't matter, Enos hasn't done anything to keep the program afloat. Not an impressive win over SC State last week. Can't imagine how ugly it's going to be against Kentucky this week.

Kentucky looked pretty bad, too, but CMU may be in for a long season. Radcliffe flat out sucks.
September 8th, 2011 at 1:08 PM ^
Yeah, Radcliffe's accuracy isn't worth a bag of walrus dicks.
September 7th, 2011 at 4:41 PM ^
I hope he tears it up. Best of luck 2 him.

Sadly, he will not experience how Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry, that people in Ohio are starting to believe him, and that never in a million years we would have thought that. Now, he'll never know that selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.
September 7th, 2011 at 8:24 PM ^
....landed on his feet. Hope everything works out for him.

well, i guess i just gotta wish him the best of luck. hated seeing him go though
