Good interviews. Would love to get O'Brien. That'd be a great 1-2 DT punch along with Pipkens. He said he's goingt to visit MSU for the Michigan game (Oct. 15), but said he is thinking of committing during his homecoming week which is Oct. 7 I believe. I don't know if I'm reading into it too much, but it might be a good sign for us.

As for Reschke, getting him and Gedeon would be a huge deal. Take those two and be done with LB recruiting. Although I believe that Reschke is believed to be a Spartan lean at this point.

I was not impressed with O'Brien's film. He looks out of shape and sloppy. He doesnt look all that explosive and did not make many plays. He looks strong, but that can only get you so far. I would have liked to see him in better shape to start the season.

I have to disagree with your assessment  of his playing shape.  He looks like he is in pretty good shape right now, possibly good enough to take the field right now for Michigan.  He does seem disinterested in the game and doesn't show much effort.  I believe he plays for a small private school so he doesn't have much competition.

How much film have you seen of him?  His films at camps where he goes one on one with top linemen is very impressive.  He's quick and strong, in addition to being nearly 300lbs already.

I haven't heard of conditioning issues with him, but if that's the case it can be corrected pretty easily, as long as he's willing.  A lot of HS players who physically dominant don't get themselves in great shape.  If that's the only knock on his game, the coaches will take care of it.

weird seeing Tom have a voice. You see a guy write for a couple of years, it was kind of weird, though I thought he did well in front of the camera. Love ya Tom!

Nope.  I have Insider and it doesn't work for me either.  Maybe the much rumored ESPN Ann Arbor site is getting closer to being a reality.  Would make sense if they did it this week with Gameday being in Ann Arbor.

FYI: The links work again.

Morris has a very tight spiral and a huge arm.  He throws the ball 50 yards from one knee... and 80 yards normally.  Wow!
