I know the golf course opens at noon next weekend, but what time do you recommend getting there in order to guarantee a spot on the course?  Getting there at noon would be too late I presume?  Any other recommendations of where to park a couple cars and get a good tailgate going?

Thanks for your help guys.  I am a former student who has no clue how the "older people" do tailgating

According to mgoblue.com, there's a new policy that vehicles are not allowed to park and form a line while waiting for the lots to open. We didn't get to the golf course (State St entrance) until 7:45 yesterday so we drove right in. Some we talked to that got there before the golf course opened said they waited in nearby business parking lots for the course to open.

<br>Not sure what we will do this Sat. You're going to see everybody getting there early to secure a good spot

are inherently designed to shed water like nobody's business. Only when it gets too overwhelming (as in a hurricane or something powerful) and/or windy does it really have an effect on the sodding and the trees. Those courses will have 4 days to dry out and then Saturday morning they test the grass and decide whether to allow cars in.
