No doubt. I don't know how he gets away with even having that job. He's a New Yorker who went to MSU. That's all he does is rip Michigan when talking about college football. The thing is almost all the callers are Michigan fans. Valenti doesn't represent the communuty. He needs to go.

To clarify, they will continue to broadcast Lions, Tigers, Wings, just not simulcast the sports talk shows and instead shift to a conservative talk program.

Looks like they're turning it into an even more right-wing version of WJR's political lineup.  Heavy on the Tea Party voices.  Looks like that one's getting booted from my presets.

I really didn't mean anything by it.  And 1270 was only in my presets for when I was cruising the AM dial between 1050, 1130, and 1270 for sports talk, which is why it'd get the boot.

97.1 sounds a million times better anyway.  For when I want that Valenti phlegm shout to come through in crystal clear audio quality.

At least they are keeping The Ticket on  the FM dial and not relegating it to AM. Where I normally find myself during the day (I get a fair number of design jobs in  the sticks of Scio and Lima Townships west of Ann Arbor), AM sounds like somebody yelling down an elevator shaft.
