RCMB Bashing Brian / Public Service Announcement

Submitted by AZBlue on

Against my better judgement, I usually take a trip over to RCMB once a week to see what is happening in Spartyland.  (I picture myself as a Dian Fossey type - going to study the primates on their turf)

Today - between the typical "got some strange lately?"  and "Brady Hoke is fat!" fare is a thread discussing the recent online bio on our very own Brian.  While reading the comments I could totally visualize Ogre standing outside the Alpha Beta house screaming" NERD!!!!".   I will not stoop to share more and did not respond to the thread.  However, the anti-nerd theme now leads me to believe that many MSU convict-atheletes stident-atheletes are actual posters on the board.  Feel free to take a look if you dare.

PSA for new posters -- i.e the person who posted the "Purdont" thread today -- Please take the time to visit RCMB.  A few short minutes will make it obvious why name calling (O$U, U$C, Spartina, etc.), text-speak, and such will immediately raise the ire of the MGoCommunity.  To paraphrase our new coach,  "This is MgoBlog and we are above such things"........ PS - also Smileys suck

fascinates me.

Plus I hope to learn how a "national recruiting power" operates, so maybe I can share this knowledge with Coach Hoke if I happen to run into him one day.

And immediately saw this thread:

What is the deal with all of the jailbait at Starbucks?

And before you ask, yes, they include pedo-pics.

There's a reason we leave these people to themselves.

EDIT: This is actually getting remarkably creepy. FULL BREAKDOWN FROM JAILBAIT EXPERT

The really slutty ones seem to order frappuccinos (or whatever the frozen flavored crap is) and like to think they're being healthy by ordering skim milk, no whipped cream, and the "light" version. It's ok though, because they stand there forever placing their order. So I got that going for me, which is nice. I'll snap a picture the next time I'm there and experience this scene.

I took it as a sign to stop going to RCMB when I visited one day and there were no less then 3 front page posts discussing the merits/benefits/locations of hookers. I can maybe see having one thread about that, possibly two, but three? Naw that's just too many....

Not that  I had high expectations of the folks at RCMB, but when I saw the link to this thread and mistakenly decided to see what kind of moron over there would think this was a constructive use of time, I read a few entries written by said moron. This includes one where he seems to regret not having a van in which he may do his....work. Wow, I am just going to put the bar right on the ground now.

Actually, screw standard at RCMB apparently. I will bury the damn bar.

Man, that's depressing.  Unfortunately, as an alum of their law school and seeing many of the undergrads, I'm kind of not surprised by those types of posts.  The grad schools at MSU are pretty good, but man does that undergrad population scare me as the future leaders of America.  And no, this assessment  is not just based on the thread above.
