Buying / Selling UM tickets thread with spreadsheet

Submitted by will on

[UPDATE 8/26/2014 from Seth:]

While the ticket spreadsheet was awesome for its time, we've known for some time that it's subject to abuse, and more likely to be damaged the more our community has grown. We've been on the lookout for some way to add a layer of security that's still free on both ends. Now we have that!

Go here: http://www.tiqiq.com/sellerdirect and sign in with your Facebook account. Then list your tickets, put MGoBlog somewhere in your description if you like, then copy the link to your tickets and paste on the spreadsheet.

Nobody's forced to use that system. This is just a protection for sellers so their price can't be changed, and for buyers so they know they're dealing with a real human with a name and pictures of their cat.

/UPDATE]

To go along with the 'more informative headlines' theme, this thread will hopefully get set as a sticky. I have made a spreadsheet listing all people selling and looking for tickets.. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Avnckx2kNv9GdGVPQXBQMDZQdFJ4RTJ… Basketball season is here.. I've started up a new sheet in the document for basketball. Ive made the permissions open to anyone to edit, so we'll try the trust method for a while until someone abuses. Feel free to post what you are looking for or selling. If it gets abused, I'll go back to the method of requiring someone to email me and then posting.

Entire season on sale for $1250/ticket.  Individual games sets are also available.  Email [email protected] for prices.  I am a legit alumnus!

Does anyone have a single ticket to the ND game.  I'm looking for one that is along either sideline (Sec. 20-26 or 4-42) and is not too high up.  I'm willing to pay upwards of $300 for it.  I have two tickets to the Nebraska game and am willing to trade 2-for-1 if people prefer.

Thanks in advance!

(I know I can get one in the endzone for this amount but am looking to get a better seat for the money from a fellow MGoMember.)

I have 4 club seat tickets to the opener vs WMU (section 311). I'm offering $1000 for the whole bunch. If you're interested, my email is on the spreadsheet.

Hey, not sure if anybody has any connections or anything in this area, but I'm trying to get two tickets to the Michigan State game (away), but I'd prefer not to pay an insane amount.  Let me know if anybody has anything

I added the column headings back in on row 1, but the last person who added their ND tix for sale on 8/21 locked rows 1 and 2 together somehow...does someone know how to undo this?

Are the seats at Sideline 21 Row B blocked by the players??  Can someone let me know if these are decent tickets or if they are too close to the field that they are blocked?  I am coming in from out of town and want to make sure they are good tickets.  Thanks

Is it okay to sell tix for more than face value here? I will know in a couple of days whether I can go to the ND night game or not. If not I obvioulsy want to sell the 2 tix.

Long story short, I posted 2 extra ND tickets I had on craigslist but didn't sell them because friends decided last minute to make the trip and take my tickets.  I got the offer below from someone and was hoping to still help her find tickets.  If you can help her get 2 ND tickets, email me at [email protected] and I can send you her email so you can get in contact with her directly.

"The best I can offer is $400 for both :/  I know you will receive better offers, but I have been trying for weeks now.  I live in California and have been a Michigan fan since I was born (my parents are from Dearborn).  I have never been to a game in the Big House and it's on my bucket list before I turn 30--this is my last season to try.  My Parents bought me a flight to Michigan for that weekend, but haven't been able to get tickets!

Best of luck selling!!!"

I'd like to buy 2 - 4 tickets to Iowa for myself, one or two alumni friends, and possibly my son (10 years old, currently playing tackle football in his age/weight bracket.) I will look around at Iowa's websites, but if anyone has tickets at a decent price, it shouldn't be a bad drive from the Chicago area.

I just posted 6 tickets for EMU on the spreadsheet.  They are all good seats.  Two are in Section 44, Row 39.  The other four are together in Section 25, Row 24.

All of the tickets are non-student tickets (no ID required), even though 4 of them are in Section 25 where I know students (e.g. my son) have season tickets.  If you are looking for tickets for friends who aren't students, don't want to borrow ID's, and don't want to pay to upgrade them, these are for you.

All face value of $70.  Will take $50 or (maybe) best offer.

EDIT:  email [email protected] if interested

EDIT (9/6/11):  the section 44 tickets and 2 of the section 25 tickets have been sold and the spreadsheet has been edited.  I still have 2 more tickets in section 25.

EDIT (9/13/11):  All 6 tickets now sold.  It appears to be deleted from the spreadsheet already.
