OT: Mike Comrie and Hilary Duff Expecting
Please recall last week when former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Mike Comrie(notes), 30, announced his NHL career is on hold until his injured hip is properly healed. "I will return to the NHL when I am healthy and able to play at the level I have come to expect of myself," said the free agent, through the NHLPA.
Turns out there's another reason to hang at home for a bit: Comrie's wife, actress and singer Hilary Duff, is pregnant with the couple's first child. And nothing says "injury rehab" like "no, honey, I said I wanted Chunky Monkey not Cherry Garcia. Back to the Safeway!"
Congrats to them!

Are we not allowed to use the term "butthole" on this website? I'm wondering based on you both using "b-hole" in lieu of the actual term. I mean, clearly we're allowed to post stupid, inane shit that is only tangentially related to the purposes of this website, e.g. some U of M grad who is not me miraculously ignoring the audible drill bit to the ear that is HIlary Duff's singing/talking in everyday life for five minutes in order to impregnate her, so I was just curious. I would support a referendum on the banned use of the phrase "tight butthole" if it is somehow considered taboo on here. It's part of the vernacular now, get with it yo.

As far as stupid inane shit that has nothing to do with the stated purpose of this website, Mike Comrie is far, far closer to the stated purpose of this website then the near-weekly soccer posts that have started to spring up and are rarely, if ever, labeled OT.

Just so you know, mgoblog has been friendly to soccer (especially in the American football offseason) for years. Brian used to write about the USMNT and MLS for other blogs, and occasionally on the front page here too.

I don't know why people are complaining about this post being on the board. It's a former Michigan star who just conceived with a well-known (kinda) celebrity. Seems post-worthy to me, but whateva...
What I really wanted to comment on was that I bet his hip is taking longer to heal due to the extra effort he was putting into making that baby happen. Just a thought.
