Updated Scoreboard & PDC Pics

Submitted by StephenRKass on

This morning, Michigan Stadium Aerials (www.michiganstadiumaerials.com) had updated pics of both the football scoreboard and the Player Development Center (PDC.) Short of being in AA, this has consistently been the best internetz source of high res, beautiful photos showing what is going on. The link is http://www.michiganstadiumaerials.com/construction-updates.html. They seem to be posting pics about once a week, and while there is no commentary, you can see more detail, plus get an aerial view, showing the entire football and basketball campus.

We can save the new thread naziism for when the season starts, and there is actually movement in the threads on the front page.  If it's a borderline decision, in the offseason, I don't see why he can't err on the side of getting the message out in a new thread.

I wonder if you can see the video from the tall condominium in AA (forget it's name).  Incredibly awesome, wish I could see it in person.

And yes, I agree with the above poster.  Can the mods just move this over there?

I think we gotta get that wireless store moved from across the street.  It always pisses me off when I see it.  It's like putting a Mickey D's outside St. Peters Basilica.  Yes it's exactly like that.   Maybe I'm crotchety but I just hating seeing a trashy wireless store across from the front gates of the greatest stadium in the world.

EDIT:  And I drove by the PDC the other day and it looks awesome.  I almost crashed my car and that would've been OK.

I would like to have a framed poster-sized version of the aerial photo of the stadium/course/central campus.

EDIT: Had I paid closer attention I would have taken notice of the "If you see another photo you'd like to purchase, contact us" information.  Duh.

Seriously? That would be an amazing experience. Imagine COD or HALO deathmatch on opposite screens. recruits would be talking about that at every post visit interview.
Maybe they could prewire the connections from both screens to pop out at the 50 yard line and set up some nice gaming chairs. Already hsving weddings why not game night? I would pay for that. More revenue, DB?

Looks like they're running some additional practice footage on the scoreboards...

There was a pretty cool time-lapse sequence showing the construction of the scoreboard itself.

Additionally, it seems like they are running extended cuts of practice footage...stuff that was probably cut out of the "Countdown to Kickoff" videos.

Anyhow, here's a link if anyone is interested:
