BBQ Expectations
With the BBQ finally coming up tomorrow, what are your guys expectations for it? Do you see any commits, and if so who? Do you see possibly any decommits (Dunn/Burbridge)? One thing that particularly interests me is Kalis's coach coming up to talk defense with Mattison. This is how connections with schools are started, and hopefully this could lead to a close connection between the Michigan staff and the coaches of one of the top football high schools in Ohio. Maybe this could be part of the Ohio floodgates opening like Kalis said.

Well, Burbridge is no longer coming, so I would give up on him. Let's focus on the receivers we have a chance with, and who many like more than Burbridge.
Also, my expectations are to hear about how good of a GrillMaster Mike Martin is. We can check off one more thing that man can do. And I guess a couple commits could be expected, too.
Are current players actually going to be there?
I recall Brandon Graham being at the BBQ with his family a few years ago, so I would assume the players will be there.

We are definitely no longer 'in on' Stefon Diggs, in case anyone on the board had lingering hope.

Jordan Payton, Monty Madaris, and Amara Darboh.

Shane Morris added me on FB. Through a post conversation with Shallman. Shallman has "Liked" the University of Michigan page on FB. If that counts for anything. I am guessing that Morris is in his ear about U of M a lot.

We can't take all these DTs.
That's why I laugh whenever MSU fans try and accuse Hoke of putting pressure on recruits to commit or their might not be a spot, when in fact, that's exactly what's going on. If Pipkins and/or Sheldon Day commit tomorrow, O'Brien's offer is more than likely being pulled, so he'll have to really be quick to the punch tomorrow ... if he wants one of those last six spots.
I can't wait to see where we stand with Steven Elmer after tomorrow. I think him and Morris are the top instate talents.
There are so many possibilities, I'm gonna temper my expectations and hope for one to two commits (no specifics though, I'd be fine with anyone coming tomorrow).
My prediction is a number of TomVH posts containing quotes from a number of players at the BBQ. As opposed to absinthe mega post.

Personally I want Pipkins and either Day or O'Brien to get on board. DT is the biggest glaring need right now for us. Having said that I will be on three commitments . . .

I'd set the over/under at 2 commits tomorrow. My money is on the over.
Expectations:
Commits from: Wormley, Pipkins, Diamond, Dymonte Thomas
We gain a lot of ground with Dunn (I think he switches to us eventually), Madaris (also commits to us eventually), Shallman, Elmers (who will also both commit to us eventually.)
I would put a WR in place of Diamond on your list. I read that Diamond is heading down to visit some SEC schools next week so it sounds like he's not ready yet to commit.
Diamond I believe is visiting on friday and can't make it tomorrow according to tomvh twitter.
