Ohio High School football coach tribute to Tressel...
What a joke...The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association is proposing a tribute to Jim Tressel by having the football coaches wear a white shirt and tie (sweater vest optional) for the first game this fall.
How delusional are these people?? Who in their right mind wants to pay tribute to a man that has consistently lied and cheated his way to the top?
Good luck in your "retirement" Jim, your flock is still behind you...

VERY.
People in Ohio making themselves look like idiots. Nothing new to see here.
Wow.... just wow.... wow
I live in ohio, if I see my local high school coach wearing a white shirt and a tie to honor a cheater/liar I might have to slap him with a 2x4
Answer: The state of mind of OSU fans
I want to see "JPT" armbands for "James Patrick Tressel" too.
...that simply reads "jt," just for fun.
very mentally ill state.
Wouldn't begin to alleviate these delusions!
Guess the JPT should stand for Just Passin Through.
.....that this is how Tressel entered recruits' homes...
think of the source.
next we'll have Ohio High Schoolers getting tattoos and rides for autographs and high school memorabilia.
You know ... Tyrelle Pryor tribute ... this is beyond ridiculous.
Let me tell you whats not going to happen....I am a coach in Ohio and will not be rocking a vest week 1 or any other week. Several members on the staff are tsio fans, but I can't imagine them doing this. For coaches to do this would require a staff to think that was as important as the actual game. Beyond ridiculous.
This makes me a happy cat
How is the vest optional? If it's just a shirt and tie, how do we know this is not just a tribute to sipowitz or the IT guy in cubicle 7b?
I never subscribed to "The Vest" nickname. I still prefer "Transition Lenses".

I assume these will not be optional.
The coaches will also be required to look the other way while players receive illegal benefits.

Thank goodness some coaches in Ohio have integrity. I like this quote from Strongsville's head coach:
"When [former OSU] Coach [Woody] Hayes was fired, did the high school football coaches honor him that first week of the season? He did a lot more for high school football and Ohio State than Tressel did. "And he didn't 'lie!'"
I agree with him completely. I guess he didn't get the memo that Tressel "retired" and wasn't fired. I think Coach Kyle in the article grew up watching too much Mr. Rogers.
