Who are your most coveted?
With all the buzz about recruiting lately, I wanted to get a feel for who you all think are the three most important pick-ups for the final pieces of the class of 2012?
Personally, I think the Ohio group is huge. My three would be:
3. Kyle Kalis (OL)
2. Jarrod Wilson (FS)
1. Bri'onte Dunn (RB)
So who are your most coveted of those who remain undecided?
But I will go with...
1. Pipkins -- We really need a top NT. Pipkins a dominant one.
2. Wilson - I think this kid is a difference maker in the secondary. He's also a class act and humble. Very high on him and I hope we land him today.
3. Kalis -- Continues the building of an excellent O-line.

3. Washington or Shittu
With that said there are some qualitly kids remaining. Wormley, O'brien, Dunn, and Dimound. I feel those first 3(4) are the best fit for they offense and defense we are going to be running in the future.

<br>I really like guys like Kalis and Washington, too, but I think we have more options at their positions. For some reason, I've never been sold on Dunn.
Yeah I can see that about Dunn. Maybe its just the idea of stealing and osu recruit that makees him so interesting
The recruits that I covet the most are

(Though the one recruit that I wanted more than all of them is Yuri Wright, but chances of landing him are slim)

Josh Garnett is my favorite prospect in this entire class.
...several needs and would make cause quite the disturbance in The Worst State Ever:
- Kalis, Dunn, Washington/Stanford (package deal means I get an extra choice)
From a purely positional needs perspective:
- Kalis or Banner or Peat, Pipkins or Shittu, Stanford or Burbridge
From a name perspective:
- Kiel (perfect QB name), Shittu (obvi), Payne (obvi)
1) Kalis
2) Diamond
3) O'neal/Pipkins
Wilson - Been high on him since I first heard of him
Pipkins - Best hair in the game
Payton - We're going to need another stud WR to throw to
I could list a lot of other guys, but I think at OL, we have plenty of interest where I don't really covet anyone much more than the rest. Obviously, you could toss another skill position player like Dunn or Garmon in there.

This list seems to have been good karma, with 2 of the three players listed committing in the following week. With that in mind, time to re-do it?
1) Pipkins

With only seven spots remaining, may as well finish off the wist list du jour
4-7) Dunn, Burbridge, Stanford**, Wormley
Pretty clear that DT is the #1 need at this point. I might even stop hitting F5 on TomVH's twitter feed every ten minutes and get some work done if we can get Pipkins or OBrian on board. At that point we'd be comfortable that M wouldn't whiff on any huge needs (except WR***), and be content to sit back let the many top tier guys M is in on play chicken for the last few spots.

*** Seems like WR recruiting is destined to not play out soon, but I think we should be okay with that given the # of quality guys M has a shot with relative to the debatable**** need. Meaning its probably worth waiting to see what happens with Burbridge/Stanford vs taking somebody now just to make sure we fill the need.
