He was going into his last year in which he may have finally seen some playing time and was also that close to the res of his life with his education. Prayers for Purdue and the guys family and friends.

...this is a devastating story. To have a young mans life taken just as he was about to make his mark in the world as just tragic. I pray his family and friends can find peace.
