I am 33 now and realized that I'd be the "creepy old guy" if I were to go back to the student section.  However, being able to swear without reservation, never have to hear "down in front," and never have to worry about performing CPR on someone is always good times.  I'm in section 6, 2 tickets together, and I'd be more than happy to trade straight up with someone with validated tix.

My wife is a social worker and went to Michigan for her MSW a few years back.  It was before I had my "renewable" season tickets and she was able to get us a pair since we were married.  She never went and I always took one of my buddies.  It's funny, once you hit a certain age and get grays in your facial hair, all of a sudden you can't convincingly pull off the hooded sweatshirt look.  Almost every game an usher would forcefully grab one of us by the arm and demand to see our tickets.

I am MGoShoe old (ok perhaps not "I walked the Sinai with Moses MGoShoe old) and I was in the student section two years ago and when Stonum returned the kickoff for a touchdown there was no better place to be...Until Tater broke it to the endzone on 4th and three...only to be surpassed by the game winning touchdown-seriously it was INSANE and AWESOME!

Anyone have an idea of how long I will be able to order these after June 6. I have orientation June 5,6 and7. Will I be ok waiting til after or will I need to squeeze it in during orientation?

one of the great things about michigan is that all students have the ability to get tickets if ordered in the deadline (ie no sell outs like wisco and i think psu) ... they will expand the area of the section slightly if they need to

also, orientation is the biggest joke in the world ... just buy the tixs then and do yourself a favor and skip almost everything but class registration (suggestion: no fridays and never before 11) and the parts where you learn about student orgs ... the rest is all a huge waste of time, the only time i learned something during it was when i got lost and then had to find my way back (ie learning campus) instead of just following a group ... find a party on campus and enjoy

So... I'm in the exact opposite boat. I graduated... and I didn't sign up for the waiting list until this year. How am I going to get in :(? Also, I bought student tickets >.> I don't wanna graduate.
