Public Service Announcement:

Since we are nowhere near the end of the Tat-Gate saga (which I am getting a great deal of enjoyment from), lets all remember that it's spelled "Tattoo."

Sorry to be that guy, but someone had to.

I assume the government will be much more interested in learning about the alleged drug dealing than the Ohio State stuff.  Giving away tattoos (or tatoos, for that matter) and buying gold pants aren't crimes.  I wonder how much they'll bother to poke around further into the OSU issues.

Edward Rife will cause a rift because those gold pants are the needle in the 200-LB haystack of Marijuana the feds are poking around.  Rife will be cooperating for reduced sentence and he will be quite detailed as tatgate falls well within the lethal fall out limits.

have already said the players aren't involved in any of the actual criminal stuff.  The money laundering relates to buying things with proceeds from Rife's drug sales.

On how many other names of OSU players are revealed before this is all done? I mean, this guy was selling weed. Anyone think there weren't at least some players signing autographs and trading memorabilia for Mary Jane?

"He didn't want any harm to come on any players or the university or the program or coach Tressel or anyone," Palmer said. "If he's responsible for anything, it's being a quality Ohio State fan."

ENOUGH SAID! Why is OSU such a shit hole!

It's just the beginning.  So much more shit to sift through in the coming months.

Trust me, if 25% of what I hear comes out, this will be the gift that keeps on giving for the next 5 years.

Just wait until the details come out!  As I stated before, the corruption is way beyond what is currently circulating, and the media guys are now getting wind of it.

And to those still in denial of my info on....

Pay for play

Ginn paid to funnel recruits

Paying girls to sleep with athletes

Drug dealing

I will say this,

I am sharing what I have heard from two very reliable sources close to the info.  Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, depending on your perspective), I am not a primary source here, so I can not absolutely, positively, 100% verify any details.  I also have no idea when and if all this stuff comes out.  What I can say, and assure you of is this....This is not mere internet rumor mongering, and the sources are legit and close to the action...

NCAA lawyer

Player's Dad

I do not have details on how money changed hands, how girls were paid or influenced to sleep with the athletes, or who was selling drugs.  What has been shared with me is that thecorruption was far beyond car deals and merchandise sales.

Frankly, I am not that surprised, and don't understand why anybody is like "No Way".  This stuff is not that OMG shocking when you look at Tressel's history.  If this stuff occurred in the SEC at Auburn, Florida, Alabama, etc, we would all be like, eh, I knew they were dirty.

There was plenty of smoke from Tressel's Youngstown days, the Clarret debacle, Troy Smith, etc.....Simply because these incidents were buried by the media and overshadowed by OSU's on field success, does not mean they never occurred.  The corruption is very much in line with Tressel's history, the getting caught and exposed nationally part is all that's new.  The shock is not that the violations occurred, it is simply a surprise it took this long to finally be exposed.  If not for the silver bullet of an email record, the vest may have remained bullet-proof.  Unlike the anti-RR Free Press waiting to attack RR for an undisclosed fart or cursing in front of children, the Columbus media and fans see only Scarlett and Gray, allowing the senator to get away with murder.

The preist was always dipping into the donation plate and fondling the choir boys....

He just finally got caught.

You forgot about autographs for weed.

I have no idea if it ever happened, but think about it.  You have a guy who runs a tattoo parlor and sells weed.  Kids are getting tattoos for autographs.

Now if you are an OSU player, and you dont' like tattoos, then what the hell are you supposed to buy with your autograph?

Say hello to my sexy friend, Mary Jane.

I live in Cleveland and manage a pretty large pro-OSU sales force.  One of the more vocal Tressel supporters (initially) had been quiet lately when i sent out my latest "breaking news" emails on tatgate.  Usually I get back something along the lines of "everybody does it" or "this is much ado about nothing."

Well when I sent out your four allegations to the sales floor he came into my office the next and said "My brother in law is a Federal Prosecutor in Columbus.  I asked him last night if there was any truth to these rumors or was it all internet BS."  He then said his brother in law told him "Brian - I cannot discuss the specifics of this mater with you but yes, there is more coming out than you would care to know.  A LOT more."

We'll see!

Does anyone know if the supposed SI article that is coming out on Tuesday will be released only in the print version (and thus we all have to buy the magazine), or if it will be released online?
